As I have been watching this site for years, 80 % stories title with "China" are about sensorship. Yes, there is a bad firewall in my country. But it is really annoying when you only can see this kind of Chinese "technical" news in this website.
Is there any firewall & spies in the U.S.? Yes there it is. I read some news about FBI guys keep monitoring many chatrooms and facting like girls to find child-porn addicts. And when you try to type comments on Al Qaeda's websites you will most likely to be logged and tracked as well.
In addition, when I read this news they stats that they will combined with their passion for politics and free expression, have led them to develop a highly anticipated software program that allows Internet users inside China and other countries I have to ask how is about other users using this technology to find child porn ? Can they be free by using it? WTF just particularly metion China?
I wonder why slashdot always publish extremely high precentage & unbalanced number of news about China's sensorship? This is a technology-oriented newsites, right?

This is a totally ridiculous story! Japanese have been well-known about industrial spies for many many years then they received what he sent.
Just an example, before 1980s Japan was pretty crap about Chinese medicine making and China manufacturing. They just sent lots spies into China for "technical disscussion". Nowadays, the market share of Japanese is far bigger than Chinese without paying anything.
Yes, I took a brief look about a ripped Ice Age 2 from my friends yesterday. But I would never watch such film even if they only charge me a penny. I believe most Chinese people would still never go to cinema if there is no such DVDs. How f***ing hollywoods can account such cases into their "losts"?
From my point-of-view, nothing wrong about Chinese people do, it is a kind of fair trading and knowledge sharing good for everyone. Linux never make programmers in the U.S. become poor or retired but MS/HP/... do (by outsourcing). IP is pretty bad since it has been abused.
Nokia should integrate a mobile phone into this device. I could not understand why they are trying integrate everything such as contact list, calender, mp3 player, game console, even two digital cameras into one mobile phone whilst this is for nothing. The source control module in VS series has been pretty crap for ages. (Something called Visual Sourcesafe but I have never been involved.) As the major devlopment platform under windows, I wonder why they ignored the most important parts of VS. how developers of MS use VS for their team development?
