Thanks to Firefox 3 betas I've managed *finally* to convert my wife to use FF. Only if I could get her using something other than Microsoft Live Messenger or get Messenger working with Wine I could get rid of our last WinXP installation.
In Finland you can get wireless internet using Flash-OFDM on 450 MHz band that was used with the first NMT cell phones. Speeds and latencies are supposed to be a lot better than with 3G and prices are relatively cheap: 1 Mbit/s for 40 euros.
Privatized healthcare without proper regulations and that's what you get. Healthcare should NOT be an industry governed by corporations trying to profit from the sick and the elderly. Patients and workers are number one, not investors.
Well, I am in a good position (or my patients are) so that I can change their diapers when needed. Normally I just take them to the bathroom so a diaper isn't actually needed, it is there just in case.
IAAMN (I am a male nurse) and I treat people with varying degrees of dementia
(some caused by Alzheimer's) every day and I know how sad it is to see their condition
degrading, which sometimes happens very rapidly. Your story about your grandmother
is for me "just another day at work".
Anyway, I just cannot get my mind wrapped around the idea of a nursing home where
the staff doesn't even change patients diapers as it is a normal procedure for me
with most of my patients, normally at least twice per shift. Is this normal in nursing
homes in your country?
So are they going to shut down WindizUpdate next as it is a lot more useful that Windowsupdate has ever been. Then again maybe the patches are downloaded from Microsoft's servers but I'm not sure.
That's what I use every day at work to keep my hands clean (I'm a nurse): ethanol.
Here's what inside one of them "ETHYL ALCOHOL, AQUA, GLYCERIN, TETRAHYDROXYPROPYL ETHYLENEDIAMINE, PEG-7 GLYCERYL COCOATE, CARBOMER"
Mobile services in the United States are 10 years behind rest of the world.

Maybe you should try Vlite from the maker of Nlite. With Vlite you can remove unnecessary features from Vista and also integrate drivers, tweak settings etc. Notice that this only useful for a new installation of Vista as you making a whole new installation media.
I don't think that Russia's prime minister Vladimir Putin has anything to do with Finland's court system.
The defendant can still appeal to the Finnish equivalent of Supreme Court.

I am currently porting CHDK to A430 which cost me around $100 when I bought it about a year ago.
Oh crap, after reading the parent I think I was hired by IBM Global Services.
With BSD backend, I guess the development could progress that quickly and that would explain breaking the ABI rumor that I've heard.
I actually managed it to start but it freezes the exact same way, gonna try with Cygwin's own Tcl/Tk implementation and try to get TclX building.
I am trying to get it compiling with Cygwin, it's a start at least. I am not sure if the version of tcl/tk included is compatible with Cygwin.
Oh man, that was the funniest thing I've seen for a while. And yes, it did hit home here as well.
I am using C-64 songs (Delta at the moment) as ringtones, thanks to Sidplay.

Would it be possible to start developing XB360MC with XNA and if it is does it cost anything?

Finally I can get a legal solution for playing DVD's on Linux. I just hope that I can get it running with other distros than Linspire. http://www.linspire.com/lindows_products_details.p hp?product_id=25183&pg=specs
I started mirroring the sysinternals.com site with HTTrack as soon as I read about this.
I don't know why, but your comment made me laugh so hard that my stomach hurts now. Thank You!
The DI-624+ is not on the list and it is possible to manually change the NTP server which the router uses.
