    They should have organised demonstrations all over Europe, there would have been more people participating. Students like me can't afford a flight to Belgium.

    Alltheweb.com Looks really good (and the results are satisfying) but I got so used to the Google interface I coul'dnt use it.
    And Google has so much features, like searching in a particular domain, converting PDF to HTML, etc.

    Anyway, who needs a 3GB distro? I use the Gentoo liveCD (38MB) as a rescue disk. It has everything you need in it: lynx, vi, rp-pppoe, etc.

    Very few people have DVD burners (in the whole world)
    3 GB = ~4 CDs
    and CDs / CD Burners are less expensive.

    The arcade is more social because you can meet new people, show them how good you are, and humiliate your opponent(s) (like in multiplayer games).
    And if you lose you can beat them up.
    When you play at home you don't get as much satisfaction.

    Yes... Often, in modern video games, the winner is the player who can press the buttons the fastest. I get my video games in librairies in Algeria, 0.3 $ (cracked).
    Here in France they cost 60$ +, and everyone buys them anyway.

    Even if they're difficult to write, modules are much easier to use... You can start / stop them, install / uninstall them very easily.

    And programs don't always run on all windows versions.

    Sometimes, windows forgets drivers. I had to re-install my USB-modem three times. Then I got a Ethernet modem and started running Linux.

    With Gentoo it's very easy to upgrade to 2.6.
    Compile kernel, emerge nvidia-kernel. But with redhat, I had a lot of trouble. At first I could'nt even run the installer.

    All these names are quite confusing for noobs. Mozilla, Mozilla Firebird, Thunderbird, Firefox, etc... I think they should focus on developping Firebird. They need more users...
