The one thing Real bashers have not figured out how to do is actually beat their codecs in look and sound.
Seriously.
Side by side (because this is what I do) I'll encode with Real rather than Windows because of encoding and editing software, and the look and feel of the output. Hands down - Real over WSM.

I have always preferred the sound of a well done realaudio stream over WMA for richness of sound.

We're not talking about big venues or bands here. Period.

But this ISN'T radio... it's not broadcast openly and freely in the public airwaves.
