Especially if her port is in promiscuous mode, you never know what worms may have gotten through. Pay close attention and see if any Trojans which may use that port.
The string changes every time, even for the same search. I tried email microsoft.com, same thing, but if you do the search over and over the string changes. Perhaps it is so they can tie it to unique searches.

Seriously, I remember when I used to use Infoseek (or is it GO.com now lol) most of the time, or even the netscape search (pre google default). Then it was on to bigger and better like HotBot, or Webcrawler. Did I ever use Yahoo or AltaVista, or Excite (yeah i used that one). Magellan, remember that one?

Waitaminit, ok Canada supporting Military deserters (aid and comfort). And now is hosting a Linux Symposium, everyone knows Linux is a Threat to National Security.
For one, the $ value per share is irrelevant, because it totally ignores any sort of qualifying factors. Like P/E ratio, Price to Book, Float, Cash Flow, anything. Hell, what if MS only had 100,000 shares of stock, they would be worth 3,081,000 each. Most companies keep their stock prices below $100, to keep them more liquid and to appeal to a broader range of investors.
Berkshire Hathaway intentionally keeps it's stock price High (illiquid - relatively speaking) in order to discourage speculation and such.
I don't intend to be overly critical, but that thing looks like he put all of the systems into one box, and just combined the video outputs. (i know the voltages and power supplies et all). But I thought I was gonna see some streamlined piece of beauty and not a behomoth of a monster. Got to give him some props though for doing this.
I too am skeptical of Ebay, however, I have found a bargain once on some cisco routers. Nevertheless, I found them on Ebay - but was able to pick them up in person before payment was made (not far from where I live). That's the only reason I made the purchase. Even then, the guy was in a hurry to get cash - he said he was leaving town.
I don't care how good it is T-Mobile (Deutsche Telekom) will never ever see another penny of my money.
After having service for 8 days, I promptly tried to cancel due to maybe 65% service in my HOME area, frequent drops, people on land lines were complaining.
Cancelled my service on day #8 (yes I know the official grace period is 7 days), after waiting about 20 minutes for customer support, then got mysteriously dropped, had to call back and wait another 20 minutes.
Returned the phone to circuit city that same day (they were great)
They tried to tell me I waited 2 weeks to cut the service off
Would not waive the $200 contract cancellation fee.
Made several attempts to get me to keep service, including saying that I could use a land line where I couldn't get coverage, but use the t-mobile phone when I could.
Kept mentioning how they don't warrant service inside of buildings (not to mention every other provider that I know of would have good service where T-mobile wouldn't - including Verizon, AT&T, Cingular, Nextel)
Kept mentioning they didn't warrant service AT ALL - saying the service is provided as is
Billed me for 3 and a half months, even though service was cut off after day 8 (tried to claim that do to pro rating they had to charge me this)
Granted, most phone providers may not warrant service, but at least they do work most of the time and usually don't BS this damn much.
All in all close to $300 for 8 days worth of phone usage (they did remove most of the monthly charges), which of course they graciously said they would waive if I started service again within 1 year. HAH! $300 wasn't even the issue, it was the treatment. Never will they see another Deutshe Mark from me, or anyone that I can convince.
But SCO tried to file a TRO against the Circuit Court of Michigan. It appears the court uses Linux Servers, to handle all of the court dosument distribution. SCO claimed that a TRO was in order because the issuance of the Dismissal would result in irreperable harm. The Judge promptly dismissed the TRO in 2 minutes. The remaining 6 minutes were taken up with everybody in the courtroom ROTFLTAO.

How the pieces of toilet paper get access to the Internet would remain to be seen
Easy, RFID chips implanted in every sheet. Then when you visit the store
Greetings Mr. Cornholio, your last sheet of toilet paper indicated that you ate too much cheese and not enough fiber, visit aisle 9 we are having a sale on Ex-Lax.
It seems like just yesterday, I was surfing the Web, telnetting ports and Cracking warez with little old IPv1, strange - we are on v6 now and I dont even remember 5. guess I'm suffering from geezer syndrome.
You must use a base 'e*10' logrithmic scale. If we multiply 2.718 by the last 'Doom Processor' Value, we get 1.8 GHz
Since We have Magical Hyperthreading 2cpu's we need 434MB RAM (2.71828*8MB*10), but since Ram doesn't scale that way, just call it 318MB and require a graphics card that has the Extra (i.e. GeForce 3 has 64MB) 318+64=382 (close enough with the added processor GPU)
luring customers away to phones by other brands such as Motorola
Um, I remember when Motorola WAS the cell phone market. Basic cell phones have turned into another fad, where people upgrade solely for the 'WOW' factor.
you do have the PDA users who want the combined features.
Back in the day, it was all about size (or lack thereof). That's when I switched from Motorola to Audiovox (remember when audiovox was cool?). Now, I don't really need a smaller phone, but I don't need the features as well - so upgrades go in cycles of years instead of every year.

nowadays, it's a guessing game as to whether the album will be any good. Flipping a coin has better odds. So why take a chance with my $20, D/L and see for myself - hell I already have it now, why pay.
The industry turned away lots of people who have the disposable income to buy quality music, by packaging fads for easily impressionable teens. Guess what - they just eliminated a repeat income stream - because these teens eventually grow up!

Guess when I stopped buying CD's (except one's that I really liked)....I think it was 1991 or 1992. What stopped my from buying?
Usually, I would hear a song on the radio, decide that I liked it, then go buy the album. If this album was good, I would usually buy a subsequent album from the same artist. If the first album was Crap, then no more albums from that artist. If the second album was crap, then no more albums from that artist.
Everything right now is not art it's a pre-planned fad. Fad's never last, i.e. time to create a new boy band. But quality endures, even if it is truly overpriced - people will pay because it is quality. Look at any of the long lasting Artisans of watches, jewelry, etc. Sure you can buy knockoffs that look exactly the same, but people still buy the actual items.
Something about a conflict, dumping physical memory, and then the browser went all blue and restarted. Strange, I've never seen anything like it.
