Your 20cents? Wow i feel really special now! --I did see the bitish TV version and even if disney does a horrible job i dont think that they can beat the brits. boy was it bad. But in other book to movie news, I hear they're planning a remake of the Narnia movies. The orginal ones by PBS weren't bad, but this is a real imagination crusher. I think that the Narnia books beat out HHGG for the special place in my heart.

If you go the the Apple site and watch the commercial that is hoster there (http://www.apple.com/hardware/ads/1984/) and watch teh commercial again you will notice something new. THE GIRL IS WEARING AN IPOD!! very interesting
Acutally every one is right, sorta. the commecial did play in 1983 but on latenight tv, so few people saw it. Apparently this was to qualify for awards. Some people say taht Appel only paid for it to bee shown at during the superbowl though.
I assume that the people in chage of mining will also think of this. (i hope) how about we trade our lawyers and SCO for their moon rocks. (It'll be a good moon spanking)
although the touch pad type wheel is new. IT really boils down to a round touch pad. Can the patent be contested on this point? i hope. But if ther were a player that used a pad even a square one it might be nicer. you coud use this for all functions.
this is true for the older 4wd models. The Subarus's (at least the newer ones and some others) have a intelligent system where it routes power where you need it. In the snow this is a great thing. when you start fish tailing out of a bend and the rear wheel drive kicks in it will help a lot. But never under estimate the effect of a pair of good snow tires, these will make the most difference.

ive used opera for about a year now. (this is such a shameless plug) even at the infamouse refdesk.com i dont get single pop-up. i actually dont remember the last time i got one. seriously. Opera rocks
as the the registering thing, i take it you mean will the use have to pay for the service. I hope not. The hassle I had to go throught when Yahoo shut down service for people that were using @yahoo.com as a POP forwarding mail accout is not something I want to go through again. If google supports POP then yahoo can suck it. im goin to google.
