    The jiggle you observe is the inteference pattern between these two phenomena.

    Well, first of all, you can't live completely without meat. You need certain proteins that you can't get anywhere else.

    You can easily satisfy all your protein requirements with vegetable sources. The argument that you need to eat meat is bogus.

    That being said, I eat meat. I eat it for the same reason everyone does - it tastes good!.

    7.04 was good but had no safe mode. I never got it working again after I upgraded my video card.

    Your car stopped in that instance because there was residual vacuum pressure stored in the brake booster. Brake boosters are designed to store enough pressure to give you a few pedal pushes after the engine turns off. This is why brake pedals take a few pushes to stiffen up after turning the car off. With no brake booster the brakes work very poorly. You have to push real hard to get any response at all.

    BTW, ABS is "antilock braking system". It prevents your wheels locking in an emergency brake.

    Why exactly would a civilisation "pass thru" the radio phase? Radio is a damned useful technology, and always will be. We didn't stop using visible light when we discovered radio, and there's no reason to presume radio will be discarded simply because something new comes along.

    I have heard several people say they "tried ubuntu but it wouldn't work"... I determined the graphics failure to be an issue 100% of the time.

    That's what happened to me. Ubuntu carked it after I put in a new graphics card. I gave up at that point and haven't used it since.
