This was a binding arbitration, not a court case. The Judge was apparently lazy. The plaintif's lawyer should have done more research into who the arbitrator was.
If you get paid by the case and not by the hour you have an incentive for quick decisions.
What you say maybe true, but if it is, then there are some judges out there that are not worth 10 cents.
My sister was an expert witness on an embezzlement case. The Judge prot em acting as binding arbiter admitted that he did not Know how to turn on a computer
The judge could not understand how she could retrieve data from a computer when the files were "deleted". My sister explained that information was kept in multiple files, and the just "deleting a file is like taking the tabs off the folder, but the files are still there".
The judge said "How do I know you're not just making that up?" and decided for the embezzler.
It's been over four years since I used it but SQLAnywhere was a full featured DBMS with transactions, stored procedures, and DB replication.
They had a great support department, but were loosing their small market share
They came out with an embedded/PDA version. You ran your application with full coverage (Sample of all types of SQL code needed). The "embedder" logged which features of the DBMS you used, then you could recompile the DBMS with a minimal footprint.
If all you did was simple selects the footprint was about 16K. But if you needed transaction, stored procedures, Java Virtual machine, etc. those features could be compiled in as needed.

SCO claims to own one or more of the ingredients but wont say if it's the butter or flour or salt.
It may even be just a procedual step (e.g. fold sugar into butter)
The problem is every time SCO tried to be specific, it turns out that they do not own the ingredient.
Even The Silent PC defers to Silent PC Review on power supplies (and other hardware).
Silent PC Review does the best hardware reviews for silence. Mike uses light bulbs (60W and 100W) when load testing PSUs to test how they deal with heat.
I have a Zalman pure copper Flower on my CPU with only one 12cm fan ducted near it. (No CPU fan).
With
my HDD decoupled
it was silent (i.e. I could not hear it at 2 AM from 1 meter) during normal operation and barely audible when seek/writing.
To overclockers 28dB may seem quiet, but whispers are about 24dB. I personally find it dificult to work with someone whispering 1 meter away. About every 3 dB doubles the acoustic energy. (e.g. if one fan is 20dB, then two of the same fans would be about 23dB)
I guestimate my system at about 22 dB.
My friend's dad had a similar one. It was about the size of a desk telephone and plugged into the wall. It had the four basic functions +,-,X and/.
It was old when we were plaing around with it in 1977. I think it had divide by zero protection, but if you divided a large number by a very small fraction you could watch it count.
They probably can, but you are making a joke about schizophreia and using a symptom of different disorder.
Also I'm pointing out a common misconception that schizophrenia is equal to multiple personalities. MPD or DID (Disassociative Identity Disorder) is very, very rare.
Schizophrenia is fairly common, more common than Parkinsons disease.
There have been tremendous improvements in drugs for schizophrenics. However for about 1/3 of schizophrenics medication (meds) has no positive effect. in about 1/3 meds will keep symptoms from getting worse, and in about 1/3 meds allows the schizophrenic to live "a more normal life" (that's from a slogan of one med).
But you do need to see a psychiatrist to get your meds worked out.
BTW in every country they have studied %1 of the population is schizophrenic. How many registered/.ers are schizophrenic?
I totally agree. Most ADD/ADHD diagnosis are made by pediatricians. They are usually right, but they generally do not have the clinical experience to distingueish between ADD/ADHD and other diseases that can present "like" ADD/ADHD (e.g. Bipolar Disorder).
A Typical Child Psychiatrist has 1 to 2 years of General Psychiatry Residency plus 2 years of Child/Adolecent Psychiatry Residency. They have much more training in this area than a Family Pratice MD, or Pediatrician.

My wife is a Child Psychiatrist and medical researcher. In addition to reasearch and clinical work, she works 10 hrs a week with an agency that helps foster and adoptive parents.
I have heard stories from both ends of the spectrum. One where a foster parent wanted to medicate a perfectly normal child just so they could more easily manage an inquisitive child in a boring environment.
And an other case where the parents were strongly opposed to med's but ther little boy was literally climbing the walls knocking books of the self in a 15 minute interview. After meds the boy was much, much, much better, and happier. The parents could not believe the difference and felt bad about the boy suffering so long.
I mentioned Cliff's post to my wife and she, like an other poster, recommend Strattera. Strattera is a non stimulant ADHD drug that is as effective as
Ritalin.
ADHD is both the most under-diagnosed, and over-diagnosed childhood desease. As much as 30% of ADHD children are left undiagnosed. Many times their parents think "boys will be boys" or "I was like that" (Umm there is strong genetic basis). On the over-diagnosed side, upto 15% of diagnosed children may actually be bipolar. If your child is not responding well to ADHD Meds, talk to a Child Psychiatrist. A pediatrician is not as trained to make the distinction between ADHD and Bipolar Disorder.
There is a spectrum ADHD severity. There are very severe cases where it is totally unfair and hurtful to call it "bad parenting". And there are mild cases where coping strategies alone may help.
Also confusing matters in the mild cases, sometimes "labeling" the child as ADHD can make the difference in getting extra reasources to an acedemically struggling child.

Does this mean that you can now get Enter the Dragon and Way of the Dragon without the nunchucks editted out?
With both palms up, my right index is bits 0 and my left index is bit 7. When a finger touches the its thumb then it is considered set.
This is easier to do than having the finger in the typical counting positions. It is also less offensive on certain powers of two.
Finally each hand becomes a nibble and the hand becomes a byte. I realize this violates the principle of Don't byte the hand that feeds you
The real solution is to use English units, grow an extra finger on each hand, and use base 12.

Most better PSU's have a thermister that lowers the PSU fan when temps are low.
CPU fans tend to be smaller, higher rpm, and have more irritating whine.

3) Case Fans
4) HDD

I think public confession is essential to overcome his problems.
But I do think the LDS Church has a duty to keep it as confidential as possible. This is in keeping with Confession and Dr./client privilege.
Sentinel,
Are not many officers of Novell also LDS (i.e. Mormon)?
If Novell officers or concerned LDS brethren complained to Darl's elders, when would the Bishop get envolved.
And how public is the process?

Of course you're confusing schizophrenia with Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD). Or maybe that's only the voice in your ear that is confused.

True ADHD is socially very difficult on the child. Untreated, an ADHD child has an increased chance of drug abuse.
