apparently, our biggest beef with freenet is that it is littered with child pornography, and a demand for child pornography leads to more of it being made, and therefore more abused and exploited children. however, freenet is free, as in beer, as is all of the content. so what do the pornographers get from having their collections on freenet, and how does it lead to more child porn being made?
11 years ago was 1993. macs have had multiple monitor support since you could stick things in them, 1987.
youre just jealous that you didnt get to play "hunt for red october" on multiple monitors when you were a young'un.

yeah, they might be giants did this on "Factory Showroom." the song "token back to brooklyn starts two and a half minutes before the cd.
#1. iTunes features many indie artists. hell, i just got the shaggs first record on it.
#2. iTunes is showing the major labels that its a waste of money to record a whole album with a talentless artist when all anyone really wants to buy is a single. this will leave more money for acts that can put out albums worth of songs and develop over time.
#3. if the music sucks, it still wont sell.
why would i download this, and not a drm free mp3 file? this doesnt sound like i get any benefit from it, because i know exactly where i can find mp3s (p2p) or aac(itunes).
if i really wanted a drm'ed file, but i wanted it to be available in the drm flavor of my choosing, id want a service that would search iTMS, rhapsody, buymusic, walmart music, etc. and give me the file with the best sound, lowest price, and least restrictive license.
actually, mac users make up about half of itunes downloads. within the first few weeks, 1 million songs had been downloaded. over ten million were downloaded when it was mac only.
if macs suck so much, why did you buy a top-of-the-line g5? seems like you would have learned by now. in fact, why are you using it to write this article? a 486 can load slashdot just as easily.
if you read the onion, you may have noticed this at the bottom of the page: "The Onion(R) is not intended for readers under 18 years of age."
although the "suggested age" is a bit silly (i've been reading it since i was fourteen) the onion frequently features foul language, and very rarely nudity as well. sending 12-year olds to this website for a school assignment is a recipe for disaster.
furthermore, if the children are getting playboy from the library, im sure theyre just reading it for the articles.

eBay always folds at the sight of controversy.

just think what would have happenned if it took any longer for that order to be removed.
but will it still suck compared to a powerpc?
what? no SCO is teh suxors comments yet? seriously, this sheds a lot of light on the current situation.
macs have been able to (cooperatively) multitask since system 6, and the os has been mutithreading-aware since system 7.5.
