yeah. i was in line to get UT and this little kid starts a tantrum because his parents wouldnt buy him GTA3. this kid had to be no more than 5 years old, and his parents bought the game. now if that isnt teaching the kid to hate cops and steal cars... what is this society coming to?
i agree. it's like some psycho shooting someone and then the police blaming the gun used saying, "this gun shot this dude." you've just taken the blame off of the individual and put it on an object. parents should look into what their underaged children are watching, playing and listening to. the reason (i believe) vionence in video games came about because someone wanted to be able to release some pent-up rage. if they take our vent away,then there WILL be a rise in violent crime.
i personally dont worry about the 'dismal launches' or 'missed bugs' or stuff like that. if the game is good i'll go thru with it even if the bugs dont get fixed immediatly.
the way i see it, digital music files arent illegal by any standard. it's covered under "fair use" i beleive. digitizing your music and putting it on your computer's hard drive is more conveniant than having that one retail CD floating from CD player to car to computer. don't ya think?
wtf are they thinking?! i mean, if M$ doesnt like the UK... TOUGH! if you dont like a country just because they know what open source has to offer doesnt mean that a greed-driven corporation should just *forget* to renew a domain... sheesh...
it's about time there's some more competition. AMD is greater than Intel in every way, but Intel is not as threatened by them as they are when IBM joins the opposition. heh heh heh. INTEL MUST BE BURNED!! freedom and quality to the people!! now if someone will put up some heavy competition against M$...
i can testify to game injuries. i have played final fantasy 7 until my wrist physically hurt. i honestly think that game controllers should be a little more ergo and less hurtful.
Micro$oft sucks a$$. why would a linux-powered super search engine merge with a control-oriented commie organization? it doesnt make sense at all... i would seriously take a deeper look into the validity of this article...
old school gamers are NOT close-minded, 8-bit game-worshippers! i happen to have a Colecovision with Frogger, Donkey Kong and the like. the old games still have something going. as for the new breed of games? it depends solely upon the idividual. IF THEY WANT 8-BIT, LET THEM SHUN 3D!
