    Well, there was a MacMini and a stackable accessory HD or two in this century.

    Stackables may make some small sense when there are a lot of discrete components & functionality.

    Today, the functional pieces are being reduced. The "motherboard" inside a laptop today is really really small.

    There are "UL fire rated" safes for paper documents, but those will destroy hard drives and those are pretty pricey.

    Data storage safes have to be more expensive yet.

    VW is just the first mega-liability case even though it is between governments and VW, with some benefits going to VW owners.

    The next issues are likely to be gigantic class action cases which might bring a car company to its knees.

    CO is usable and can be 'burned' which results in CO2 (oxidation.)

    How can a company declare a product "secure" when obviously no security audit was done?

    If WhatsApp merely stated that in transit is encrypted, but data on your phone is open to discovery, even if deleted, at least they would have been honest.

    There is no reason not to tell the driver/owner that a sensor is out or a cable unplugged and that it doesn't take a "factory service center" to fix it.

    The chips and coding to provide this info to the "farmer" are trivial compared to the price of the equipment.

    Bought a quick URL from GoDaddy, but never used free Office 365 which is associated with it.

    Suddenly Little Snitch on my Mac was reporting maybe 5 dozen or more attempts to send data out even though I clicked "Never" & MS would try to send out to a new URL.
