    It's an issue for new users that choose to get the whole block chain. The more Bitcoin gets popular, the more ISPs get of those users. As you say though, once you have the whole thing, it takes little bandwidth. Maybe the editor just likes to put as many icons as he can on stories.

    As much as I hate their stupid "account required" bullshit, it's a private company so they can ask you to sign-up to use their website.

    U.S.A. base model is $649 + $129 for two-years Applecare (to make it equal to the Germany warranty) vs Germany base model converted to dollars with VAT removed is $685.

    I'm pretty sure 685 is substantially less than 778.
