Ok troll, i'll bite. First off, i'd like to say that Nintendo is indeed alive and kicking. This generation, nintendo's showing was not as great stateside, but i do expect things to pick up next go around. Nintendo is the only one of the "big three" with any kind of focus, and any kind of innovation. The solution Sony and Microsoft have towards gaming is "let's throw as much power at the game as possible instead of showing people something NEW". dispite being the underdog, and having much less "buzz" around their product on the handheld market, the DS is not selling dismally, in fact it's quite the oppisate.Record numbers in japan, and I've certianly seen alot more of them around campus (PSU) then the overpowered, overfragile PSP. Not only that, but the games are INNOVATIVE, not just half assed console ports. I, for one, am very excited to see what nintendo does with the revolution, and I think that they'll be around for years to come.
The handheld is real nice when the roomie is on the TV. also, it's easier to take with on weekend trips home. Linux leaves me few options for PC games...(not a troll, i don't dual boot for a reason)
good thing too, because if she wasn't, i would have had nothing to distract me from the fact that the video was not funny and i just wasted two minutes of my life. Thanks a lot GP.
There up to 9th edition now? i stopped playing right around when 6th edition came out, and only then because i moved and couldn't find anyone to play against. I need to start hanging around the comic shops more often...
I use OO Math because it's easy and already embedded in the Word Processer I'm accustomed to. LaTeX is a bit overkill for most of what i do (Concept outlines with the occasional formula). However, if you think that LaTeX is usefull for everyday word processing, maybe i'm looking at it wrong. I think i'll look into a tutorial later today...
what if they can only solve complex differential equations in their heads after recieving the adrenalin rush of murdering people in a grizzly, macabre fashion?
Good idea, put a raid controller in a firewire enclosure, then slap 4 of these little guys in a raid 5. Looks just like any other firewire drive to the computer, but it's got stripes and parity!
not to mention the shop-for-drapes minigame!
They re-use charecters, but that's about it. The games manage to stay fresh.
not to mention XIII, which was excellent by the way.

and for $0.05 it will take a 105% fee. Bastards.
how exactly are macs "compatible with microsoft products" other than the fact that microsoft writes office:mac?
hiding unix behind a pretty GUI is nice, but it's been done.
Another University DS owner here.

Oh my god...the idea of starcraft for my DS just got me so excited i wet myself...
no I'm gonna get the ass from his teenage daughters...
I for one welcome our new stupid fickle female overlords!
They ought to open source (or at least release) their server software so the community could pick up where they left off...

It would make him disappear...
where did the title lie?
I think they meant Planescape's torment. Possessive case.
Not really. In windows 3.1 you clicked on the "games" group in program manager. In 95, you clicked on the "games" group in explorer. Not much easier.
hehe you said Schmalian-ware. Wish i had mod points.
Seeing as the scratch off tickets all have something, and it's only an avatar modifier anyway, where's the gamble?

Psychopath: I don't think it means what you think it means...

Not to mention OO math is great for scientific papers, and the markup is really easy to learn.
