nope. Record companies also have to pay for the artists themselves, studio techs, artwork designers, typesetters, and lawyers. $13 is IMHO a fair price for a CD. (I don't work for a record company, and I only have legitimate music)

Mario 64 (the first one, and to a lesser extent the DS remake) is/was the perfect launch title. It appealed to all ages, is FUN, and showed off the new hardware spledidly. if only more launch titles could be this way...
actually the blurb sucked, not the article. Well, the article sucked too, but not because of the economic stupidity. It just basically said that in 10 years you might want to dust off your copy of katamari or whatever. that's all.

For the record, i never owned a single console untill I was 16 and got a job to buy my PS1.
yea, but if the rest of the world sees it that way, it's bad for sony in the business world. Less developers would be on-board with them, they would get less contracts with other corperations. You aren't thinking big enough.
that would be too restrictive for my tastes...what, would i have to credit OO.O every time i wrote a paper? would i have to watermark all my Gimp stuff? unacceptable.
What language would you put it in? The bios seems like the perfect application for assembly code. The problem is that the bios needs to be kept simple.

Halo is anything but fast...either that or UT2004 has ruined me for FPS.
