I can't help but think of the time I was in Vegas at a blackjack table. The gal next to me was asking the dealer what this "Insurance" thing was written on the table. He answered, "Well, if it's advertised on the table, by the casino, do you think it's good for you, or good for them?"
The difference in degree is what matters. Call whatever government you want a theocracy, but the one that kills you for blasphemy in much worse than the ones that don't.
To your retort: yah, how many christians would threaten you, and how many would follow up? So we've got two abortion doctors shot in the U.S. versus the entire country of Iran homosexual free, at least according to one of it's leaders.
the specific religion that matters. Go ahead, draw Jesus having sex with little kids in your cartoon. Now do the same with Muhammad. Now sees who threatens you and how much you believe those threats. You ignore reality to make a pointless distinction. Go ahead...wide brush.
you mean, like how they're down right now and I can't play the game that I paid $60 bucks for. I buy about one game/year. So far this gaming year sucks. I can understand a release day rush, but if this happens again after this week I'm for sure never ever buying a single player game that depends on remote servers.
I'm old enough to know better. I feel stupid. I feel ashamed. I need to see my therapist...

I'm not sure you could categorize bitcoin users as "people that don't know computers". Your argument could be used to shut down Vegas. Maybe Gambling Permits are in order?
Where do we draw the line: that companies can't call so and so about your past, can't look here, can't look there? If you're putting personal info where every single person in the world can view it, then why should that info be off limits to potential employers? I know I know, accessing said info and requesting id/pwd is the line, right?
"Undeniably, however, most of them do have a point, one or another or several, and common sense suggests that, probably, one could arrive to a consensus, if only the authors, some two centuries apart from one another, could be brought together."
Very interesting theory. As someone who only occasionally hears a computer generated voice each week, I definitely prefer it to be female. And I prefer her to be tenor/alto, not soprano.
A hippie?
I'm not too sure either.

People not voting is the symptom, not the problem.
To want voting be more like American Idol than Local DMV is closer to the problem, but still only a symptom.

You really get unlimited cached tiles? Have you tried going past 10? Wonder why I have a limit of 10...
Are you sure you can cache as many tiles as you want? I just tried and reached a limit of 10.

hate is the opiate of the masses. Easy on those doses...

Forget water boarding: just use that sentence.
The stink coming from Bonch doesn't originate from his t-shirt.
the several months old Sony Blu-Ray player I have plays them just fine. Sorry, don't feel like pulling it out to check the model.
So two wrongs make one right. Got it.
So you're like the others here, and prefer James Earl Jones...

"none of them are inherently wrong"
Is that true, in an absolute way?
Some '68 Beetles had IRS, and all '69 Beetles had it.
My '64 and '67 were extra fun when one of the rear wheels left the ground. More dangerous than swing axles on Bugs were the Lilliputian brake drums.
Confirmed. Just upgraded the work computer here: Firefox 3.6 to 4.0. On a Pentium dual 2140. Went from 4 fps to 33 fps.
Probably wont get much work done today...
