I don't speak for Arch Linux, but they're probably going to switch to x.org, too.
There's an x.org package in the testing repository that runs great on my PC.

On a laptop at work, the \ key is to the left of the spacebar. What's up with that?
So that's 85% Normally the "Other" category in a list hovers between 1 and 5 percent.
What other browsers could possibly be connecting?
Safari? Netscape (is it Gecko based)?
Is Avant Browser considered IE?
The problem with blocking everything but 80 is that people would still believe that they have an Internet connection, so they wouldn't be forced to do anything about it.
For a doctor at a clinic, maybe it's worth it for them to announce to each patient that they are being recorded for lawsuit purposes.
That way, it will be clear that the doctor has given this person their options, etc.
If the patient doesn't want to be recorded, they can go somewhere else, right?
Now that sounds familiar:
Commissioned by [insert company here] on the TCO of [insert OS here]
Weren't Slashdot readers lambasting Microsoft for this a week or two ago?
My bias leans toward Linux having a lower TCO (it does for the servers at our workplace), but the fact still stands that IBM commissioned that study.
Not only that, but they mention at the beginning of the paper that the challenge-response system is ineffective in the case of automated confirmation emails, etc.
How is it going to work when those same response systems have to deposit money in an escrow?
"The free software helps users accomplish various tasks online, whether it be filling out address forms or checking weather forecasts."
So what's the most tactful way to tell the NYTimes to clarify their usage of "free" software?

I would say that it's the $1000000000+ Gun Control legislation that made the difference. :P~~~
A high-school acquaintance told us of a similar experience with his first-year university roommate.
He swam every day, but pool != shower.
People on his floor were taking bets to see who would be the first to catch him washing.
(for those of us who are not running Windows, Mac, or Solaris?) Maybe I'll see if WMP works through Wine.
Just as long as the cars don't run Windows. ;)

Now open up MSN Messenger and check your Hotmail (assuming you have a Hotmail account). Up comes IE.
Didn't the price jump to $1599 after SCO's "goodwill" price of $699 expired?
Whaaat? Not reading the article? Never!
*That* is the time to edit config files.

GeoWrite apparently also has the precursor to Clippy. Check out the third screenshot.

News to me. Where do I download it?

It makes sense now why Wine works with some apps and not others without a code tweak.
