u know buying online SHOULD be nice and convenient but i find buying stuff online WAY to pricey due to the american exchange rate.. for example ThinkGeek.. or as i would like to call it.. "Overpriced American Geek Store" (no offence to the OSTG) but OVER all i would say:
online shopping == Good Online Shopping From Canada == Rip off
i could be mistaken.. but so far the only site i'v found with decent canadian prices is Amazon.ca
Cmon.. iv waited a extra year.. at least release the hl1 source for Porting! Id software should buy valve so we could start seeing some more damn games for linux iv had hl2 pre-orded for over a year now.. but since i have doom 3 and the linux binary's are coming soon.. maybe a combo of d3 and ut2004 will scratch my Linux Gaming itch.. i think its ironic.. valves source got leaked last year due to a windows expliot (so they say) and still won't even consider the alternitive os's..
iv lost all hope in Valve.. and blizzard.. sure they Made great games... and im sure they will make more.. but i think these company's forgot thier roots.. at one point thier where dwelling at home programming like the rest of us.. i miss the old valve and blizzard you know.. from back in the day...
i think valve should be more forgiving to the gaming comunity... if i remeber the OLD saying correctly... "Don't bite the hand that feeds you"
its about time... another adventure game. the current game market is saturated with First person shooters.. and now third person shooters. i for one am a fan of adventure games. maniac mansion, monkey island serries.. etc.. thiers not enough of them around any more i can just hope that more adventure games get produced and linux clients avalible for them *grin*
on one more note.. i think thier should be a open source standard scripting language for building adventure games... sure we can Emulate SCUMM but something totaly open source should be made.. And get some Nice games out in the Adventure Gaming Market:)
Wow i hope they make a Anime about the raid!...
Officer: Stop!
M$: no!
Officer: So, Be it.. we must Kungfoo Figh!...
Then out of no where.. Giant Robots!!
Well ill have to say that in this day and age games are alot more simpler then back in the old days of Leasure suit larry and other Adventure games.. its strange.. i find that alot of the old games are my 386 are more challanging.. then the console ps2.. i can't say more effort needs to be put into game then graphics.. cuz as much as the old saying goes "Don't judge a book by its cover" its false in the video game industry.. So many of times i have walked into EB Games and walked out with something that Looked Good but to my supprise has a low IGN rating... i would have to say one of my Biggest gaming dissipointments would be Enter the matrix.. on PC where u can pritty much just run threw the game how ever i digress. Any how.. instead of pushing a game out in 6months more development time should be put in.
Well i have to say that Its a very good list of games.. Some of the more popular ones where mensioned in a Book Called "Game Over" wiched talked about the Rise and fall of nintendo.. Any how.. very cool stuff.. i just wished Maniac Mansion was in that list.. one of the best games by Ron Gilbert and one of the best ports to a console by far.. *hint *hint Lucas Arts..
No.. im not looking for some one to blame but on the consumers it is horrible.. if any thing thier Game should be Free.. then they charge monthly fees.. that would be the best way to go in that case..
Having some one pay monthly is the most horrible thing a company can do...
i mean why Go out and spend 80$ on a game and pay an aditional cost on top of that.. i understand its to maintain servers but its stuppid..
Personaly i am waiting for the next version of Planeshift
www.planeshift.it
its totaly free Massive multiplay Online RPG.. 100% free
In another note i would rather pay +60$ more of the game price just for a unlimited subscirption for a massive multiplayer RPG game.. then have to pay monthly
But, As a linux user.. i relly have respect for almost any company that offers a linux version of thier software.. its really about time.. i think Nvidia and ID software are setting a good examples off releasing linux related version of their games/drivers
New Kali Versions are Out.. its a good Game a awsome Game browser and supports hundred's of games... the only thing is thiers a one time fee if u want all the benifits.. but its totaly worth it...
i think Kali even has the new Halo PC game browser last time i checked.. alto im not sure if Jay (creator) has released it publicly.
i haven't used Game spy in years... in my view its nothing but Addware every where...
My best advice for every one is Stop using it and goto Kali www.kali.net
I have been using it for years.. and its the best Gaming comunity every...
Why the heck are people still using Internet Exploder... errr..explorer.. iv been using Galeon for a year now and have had the option to block popups for a while now.
Nice!

any suggestions eh?
maybe they will pull a "Bioware" and we will see the client after they release several expansions..
Or maybe they will pull a "idsoftware" and they will release it "soon".. AKA months after
Any way.. i have as much faith in starwars battle front port as i do seeing hl2 released this year..
