    There's no such thing as a "standard feature" in the game console industry...

    How about the power cord? Maybe just the plug on the end of it.

    The rules of Intellectual Property are not practical!

    They are for the lawyers. Which brings up a rather sad point. MS lawyers probably spent more time on this project than the developers.

    Once again "intellectual-property" serves to cripple technology. They probably can but won't in order to force you to upgrade.

    It also seems to "advertise" a process. So far it appears to be a good thing. Any alternative to the current copyright/patent quagmire that we are in now is good.

    Micrososft is doing this to keep us distracted away from Linux until Longhorn comes out. Two years is a long time, so we can always expect bits and pieces of "neato" stuff in the meantime.

    As for torqueing(?) them down, I was always told to turn it until it breaks and then back off a quarter turn.

    The nice thing is that you don't have to "install" mozilla. I always download the zip and copied it to any ol' place and it works(after extracting the archives of course). You probably can run it from a CD.

    if I attach a jpeg of a stamp to my mail? Will that work? Actually I believe that they just want to eliminate anonymous mail and access to the 'net. Luckily for us, somebody will always offer free, anonymous mail, until it is outlawed.

    The panic that the poster describes. That what I'm calling racist. And yes I agree that nationalism and racism is the same. Any attempt to place yourself above another is, in my mind at least, a bad thing.

    Paraphrasing: The UN today made an annoucement equating zionism with racism. To which, Sammy Davis Jr. was heard to say, "What a breakthrough. Now I can hate myself."

    This partisan propaganda article of his is a fine example of him reliving the Good Old Days, scolding Americans about the Red Menace(1), and gloating about the covert harm American "intelligence-gathering" agencies could do to the Godless Commies(2). The potential(3) loss of innocent lives is irrelevant to him, because we were (in his mind) at war with the Soviet Union(4), for the very soul of humanity.

    Replace with:
    (1) Terrorists
    (2) Islamists
    (3) Actual
    (4) Arabs

    Get the picture?
