You have no idea what you are talking about. Salaries go to government workers, money goes to defense contractors, etc. This money is paid. They can't just print money to make up for it, or what you have wouldn't be worth much.

The real key is that the debt is rather fluid; they rob peter and pay paul, and keep doing it. It is debatable whether this is good or bad, but your explanation doesn't involve real life.

what kind of "restrictions" are they gonna place on it?

The show got cancelled more because of controversy than lack of ratings. It's good to see Fox selling out on this due to response (whoddathunkit? Fox?), but I hate for the Family Guy people to sell out too.

In some ways it was good that it went out on top; Look at the Simpsons now; yech.

  10. Re:Perfect... on Bombardier's Hot Wheel · · Score: 1

I know this is a joke, but it made me think. It seems that this device IS substantially more dangerous than a regular motorcycle (which is already plenty dangerous). For instance, the gyroscopes could fail, the wheel could fail, etc.

The question is, then, what extra benefits does it add over a motorcycle? The riding experience should be about the same, the price is probably higher. I understand that this only a prototype, and it might never be produced, but why dump money into making it? I don't see how it could ever be more than a "hey, neat" item - are those really the basis of a succesful business plan?

    That said, Hey neat!
