    Ten digit dialing required that you remember 7 numbers and a more general area code. These are really distinctfacts. My address might be 20 Hawkstone Place, Fairfax New Jersey, 90520, and you could remember that much more easily than 383428429483456 (substituting one number per syllable).

    Is just great driver compatability. That seems like the primary hurdle that can really keep people out, as well as a large area that is easily neglected in a more server-oriented mindset (especially in terms of user peripherals).

    Point missed. A very-well done, controllable, etc. RTS game for a console WOULD be extraordinarily original. I know that there were good FPS experiences on console prior to Halo (I was a goldeneye addict), but nothing on console prior to Halo came close to what it offered.

    The point is, they have a profit point, not that they're abitrarily kicking out above average people for the sake of it. Kicking out their 10mbps customer allows them to reach it. Story over.

There's no reason I should be informed of the intimate details of your voyage of discovery; once you found the pictures, just say "Hey, here's the picture of this dumb thing that no one cares about; give me mod points".     1) Breach of contract isn't a criminal issue, it's a civil one. Why should murder be illegal? People can already sue murderers.

    2) What you're probably concerned with is trolling on slashdot. Luckily, anyone who hasn't seen a movie for years is probably hopefully marginalized, and you probably won't get the chance to mess up the real world for real people.

    It should have been called "Master and Commander: The Charles Darwin Story".

    They turned a good idea for an action plot into a horrible attempt at explaining evolution. I was half expecting to hear that their ship was named "The Beagle".

    The movie was watchable, but far, far, far frok "great".

    It has been my observation that home-schooled children are bigger losers (overwhelmingly) than those who have been educated along with other children (like non-weirdos) (I'm not trying to condemn home-schooling, it's just that every single person who does it turns into a huge armpitsniffing loser).

    Have you ever studied serious mathematics? How is it not?

    The whole point to Mathematics is that starting from a set of rigorous axioms, you can build up true statements using the rules of deductive logic (which are derived from philosophy). I'd guess you've at most taken an engineering calc class, so you might not understand that.
