These are the great weasel-words that appear in every tax debate. "10% of taxpayers". When it comes to wealth distribution, 80% of wealth in the US is held by only 10% of the population.

I don't have a whole lot of sympathy.
Tons of people got tired of waiting for the iPhone on Verizon and had to settle for an Android phone only figure out, "Hey, this Android stuff is actually pretty cool!" and now have no desire for an iPhone. So Apple might get more of the currently-smartphoneless-on-Verizon demographic when their contracts allow them to upgrade, but I think they've lost every single one that's bought into Android up to this point.
So it gets towed to 20 feet and flaps a few times until it settles back to the ground. Flight?
At least tow it to a certain height and flap to a higher altitude.
I don't want actors writing mission critical code for our spacecraft, and by the same token, we the voters shouldn't get our opinions from people who are paid to make us laugh, not make us see truth.
Actually, "truth" is right in many comedian's wheelhouse. Pryor, Carlin, Hicks, Chapelle, etc... I'd venture that you'll find more truth in a comedian's routine than a 24hr cable news show.
It's not so cut and dried as that. As far as I can tell, there's a whole lot of ambiguity regarding calls between one-party and two-party states. No one really knows how a challenge would shake out.

I admin a phone system in Idaho, a one party consent state. Basically, we can record anything without warning, even calls from two-party consent states.
The old audiophile criticism applies to video as well: do you listen to the music or do you listen to the recording? People that listen to recordings care about details and quality and $500 speaker wiring.
I guess if your attention is being consumed by a good story or song, you don't get held up by the little details.
Those global warming discussions are pretty interesting up to 3 hours after posting. Then it starts evening out with some rational discourse and some science. I'm not sure I'd call it organized but it seems pretty suspicious that the rational science loving audience that frequents slashdot would crank up the denier rhetoric so consistently.
That's exactly what I'm getting at! A liberal pussy like Clinton only had the ambition to station troops on the southern part of the peninsula. It takes a visionary like McCain to realize the true potential of our military by adding the northern part.
Real Americans don't give up so easy. A measly 7.5 years? Puhlease... If McCain had been elected we'd be there for another 7.5... along with 30 years in Iran and who knows how long on the Korean peninsula.
I mean really, which party would you rather have in office?
You're right, we should use the excess power to do some electrolysis, then use the hydrogen in fuel cells to do something like pumped water storage because I hear that's a more efficient way of storing energy.
I don't understand which particular complaints you have against the Android user experience.
I have an Android phone and I can certainly check the weather and get my email easily...
That's pretty freaking awesome.
The real advances toward powered flight were when we stopped trying to imitate nature and go in a different direction.

I'm sorry but I disagree that the sped up video is nothing short of impressive. Even at 16x, I quickly lost interest.

I'm sure something like a KeyesLab app is representative of most other apps, right?

Are you back? I've missed you...

You are part of the problem, jackass.

Fuck this, I'm moving to Belize.
Ah yes, those important parts of our history are shown brilliantly on the History Channel... like Top Shot, Axe Men, and Ice Road Truckers.
<spit>
Are you kidding?! Obama has the Most Liberal Record Ever! And Kerry held that title before. And Gore before that...

I agree. In the grand scheme of things, the end of humanity in a million years isn't what keeps me up at night.
I'd take a black and white movie/show with a decent story over Avatar and its ilk and damn day of the week.

My "favorite" technique I've seen is to stash your bag in the first available spot. Sure, your seat is 33B but that bin over row 7 is open...
So the obvious conclusion is that we need better porn. I agree wholeheartedly.
