I was taking a heatsink off of a board that...at the time, was one of the best. Well, stupid me snapped off the pieces of plastic on the socket that hold the heatsink on.
There's always going to be a way to get around it though. Look at XP's Activation, that was cracked. Even the activation in Longhorn has been cracked. No matter how strong of a wall you put up, all it takes is a big wrecking ball to bring it down.
Seriously, PE Builder has been flying around for a very long time. Plus you can just download a Windows PE off of many IRC servers. Nonetheless, Windows PE/PE Builder has saved my balls many times. Almost lost my porno on one incident.
I believe Sharp made a laptop with a Crusoe in it. This laptop was among the thinnest I have ever seen. Literally, it was twice the thickness of my Toshiba e355, and im not exaggerating. Too bad it cost an arm, leg, and a penis.
Seriously, what the hell is the point? What is Windows CE possibly good for besides a handheld device. A webpad is what Windows CE is for, NOT the Xbox. When Windows XP is running on an Xbox(which will NEVER happen), then I will be impressed. But Windows CE, its kinda useless.
...the article is by PC Magazine. Nobody there will give anything that doesnt have an x86 proc 5 stars. Same thing with Mac magazines. To get a REAL review and not a rant and rave, you need someone that uses something thats not Windows or Mac OS or *NIX and they have to use a non-x86 arch. Thats a review.
My two cents.
While not all coders are rocket scientists, I think the ones who use Assembly everyday are the ones that have six brains. I can barely understand all this converting binary to this, hex to that, etc...
...sixteen people reported blind by staring at the laser. Theyll be pulling a SCO and suing the United States for making Colorado a state and thus allowing the laser test to go on. Anyone up for a game of laser tag?:D
As we already have "no copy flags" coming to TV's, I wouldn't be suprised to see a "no skip flag" on TV's now. Seeing as I pay nearly $80 for satellite service with over 100+ channels, I shouldn't have to watch all these damn commercials. Most of the time its: A) I dont want what their selling or B) I don't care what they're selling. But, as always, there will be workarounds, of course, and you can be sure i'll be buying one:).
Just my.02.
The problem is not the games with sexual/violent content. The problem is the people that play them. If some jackass goes out and plays GTA:Vice City, then goes to the local interstate/highway/parkway then shoots someone, its his fault. He committed the crime. The disc of Vice City did not fly out of his PS2/PC/Xbox and pick up a gun and shoot someone. However, he did act out the game and should be punished as such. And with those 14-16+ aged kids that went out and shot that person, they should be charged as adults. Murder is no joke and it should not be taken lightly.
Don't spoon feed me that bullshit that she didnt know what she was doing. She knew exactly what she was doing. If someone kills someone and they do not know murder is illegal, then the law still applies. In my opinion, she got what she deserved. Simple solutions to difficult problems.
scapegoat for parents to blame their kids moronic actions on.
"OH NO, HES BEEN CYBER BULLIED, AND WE DIDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!"
Parents need to take responsibility. GTA is not why your kid is a fucking asshole.
This program has been around for ages, and you're just finding out about the POS NOW?

I was going to do it, but my FTP client was fucked up.
Sorry, I seen the the two different Mhz ratings and :-S. Completely my fault.
The SE/30 ran at only 16Mhz.

What do mean, "Not allowed to press the Stop button"?
...I pay $50 a month for satellite and I cant even record any TV. Thats bullshit.
Agreed. Anyone want to reencode my lesbian collection. Over 60GB of DivX. :D
