    I teach college statistics, and I can assure everyone that standard statistical tables are alive and well. They are in the back of all introductory college statistics textbooks, and students are taught how to use them.

    What I suspect will end up happening is that, a few decades from now, when us humans are still tinkering with the Standard Model and MAYBE working on alternatives, machine intelligence that surpasses man will come up with a far superior model which we may not even be capable of understanding. That's where science is headed.
