Okay. Your reply is just balls-out stupid. Firmware updates, driver packages, game content, engineering white papers, custom audio filters... these constitute 'every little whim' to you?
"Anyone looking for legal content will already be smart enough to find it via other methods"
It's a minor shift within Google, and one which I don't actually have an interest in, but; Your point is not valid. Sometimes, there are no valid "other methods." There are times when it is faster, more efficient or the de-facto download method of the organization which I am attempting to download content from. On a very regular basis, I torrent game updates, firmware, drivers, research papers, software titles... all legitimate activities... and, sometimes, I need a search engine to reference those works.
"And the reality is that the vast majority of torrents contain pirated files"
You're interested in drawing a distinction, but Pedopope is running both shows... This isn't Thunderdome! You can be the head coach of a team and own the stadium, too! Or, something like that!
Vatican City is acknowledged as a Sovereign State. The Holy See is a part of the UN... And to this day, worldwide, millions of people are forced to be Catholic.
I live in Ohio and the AC you've responded to is correct; There is very low social mobility here in the US. AC wasn't talking shit... You just didn't like it.
Just because someone doesn't believe as you do -even if their logic is flawed in ways which you might struggle to tolerate- is no indication that they cast their vote in a manner which is inconsistent with their beliefs.
You're just an angry dude. Admit it. Suck it up. Try to have a better day than what you're setting yourself up for... or don't. But, take it out on yourself.
Or, are you foolhardy enough to believe that your political views will randomly be accepted by strangers? Reading you being rude, narrow-minded, and arrogant about politics and voting is both a perfect demonstration why discourse on the topic is so unpalatable to rational people and of the only useful statement you've made on this thread, "shut the fuck up."
It's okay, AC. I'm wearing my "WWMD" bracelet today (What Would Miley Say?) so that I, too, can keep up with the nonsense catch phrases of the moment. It's fracking english.
"Too big to fail" isn't a banking or industry term. "Mission Accomplished" isn't a declaration of victory. "Fair and Balanced" isn't a viable news source. I get it.
In hindsight, I do see your point and would like to apologize for using the phrase "too big to fail" to describe a company which is too big to fail.
In plain english, "Too big to fail," is a fairly simple statement. Google is simply too big of a company for any complaint to bear genuine relevance... And just like any other monolithic corporation, they have problems. And; they'll fix them, when they can... when they have to. It's a major shift in going from "Don't be evil" to "Move along, nothing to see here" which demonstrates that they, too, know that they are too big to fail... And, not in a bailout sense. It's far more potentially insidious; They're too big to fail and there's virtually nothing that anyone can do about it.
When a company becomes too big to fail, they begin making statements and taking stances such as those which we are referring to here. "Too big to fail" isn't a banking or industry term any more than "Mission Accomplished" is a declaration of victory.
Actually, I'm failing to see the abstract which you're asserting here, so; why not compare the two?
But, more to the point of the title, Google is too big to fail. If they're feeding you spammy search results, odds are you will move on to page 2 rather than switching to an alternate search engine. It is because of this that they can claim that their metrics match their objectives and defy public opinion. The public, having received an answer, continues to utilize the service. That makes them too big to fail.
Not so! Apparently, there is no connection between computer use and Carpal Tunnel.

Don't just say it... prove it.

You like being mislead, not informed.
Thanks!
In that case, what do you do with the hookers?
Umm. I hope you are joking and that I am dense.

There. Fixed that for you!

Trust google. Trust everything about them.

There need not be more than one "share" of a company. Even a privately held company with a single owner has at least one shareholder.
I have a Sirius Stiletto (100) which, I believe, does not play WMA. As a side note; It also is not compatible with Windows Vista.
