    Last issue I bought: full 3CD set of Fedora Core 1. The one before that, Red Hat 9. In a lovely DVD case, as well.

    My mother's is MadBlast, my brother's is some magic tricks site and mine is Slashdot. Which is funny, because I seem to be visiting CNN more than Slashdot these days. I usually have a scroll through the stories and then go onto CNN and the BBC.

    Standard Oil is far from dead. ExxonMobil, BP Amoco, ChevronTexaco...All of those have roots in Standard Oil. ExxonMobil even uses it as a brand name FFS (Esso-S.O).

    Although it could happen, I'm sure a monopoly the size of MS could never be allowed to acquire the media behemoth of AOL TW. (Who own a helluva lot of media...CNN has a lot of mindshare, and if they're acquired there could well be problems with impartiality, like NBC and GE.)

    Hi, I also posted a link to that Mayak site. That fucking thing gave me nightmares and scared the living bejesus out of me, and I actually asked GP to not have a certain picture from that site (the header image of a deformed baby in a jar) on the front page any more, since it's so fucked up (I mean, little kids get sent to Greenpeace.org to research school projects and such...just not a nice thing to see). Certainly opened my eyes a bit (usually in the middle of the night :)
