    This needs to be blown up so big all over the news, that none of these people/organisations/corporation can hide anymore.

    You would do well not to use ultimatums with this type of boss, as he/she/it seemingly is incompetent, and seems to be the old school type of manager, eg. 'my way or the highway'.
    He/she/it WILL see that as a challenge to he/she/it's authority.

    Basic sociology suggests, and i mean basic as in sociology 101 for toddlers, that it's very individual, some consentrates better with music, some don't.
    forcing conformity on individual contributors is the easy out from a management viewpoint, but is moronic from a productivity perspective.

    On my desk there's a pair of headphones, and a pair of earplugs. no cubicle farm, but open offices with about 30 persons to the office, and ample of elbowroom.

    While a goalie mask provides ample protection from larger chunks of organic matter, it does buggerall for smaller chunks and blood spatter.
    Being an ex hockey goalie as well as an ex motorcyclist, I would recommend the bikehelmet.
    While it IS found lacking in style and menace compared to a goalie mask, the ample protection from bloodspatter, claws and beaks makes up for it.

    As for PETA recommending vat-grown meat, you can pry this free-range squealing pig from my cold, dead hands...

    Neither can Windows, the major player on the OS market. What's your point?
    Most people capable of finding stuff to download, are capable of installing a mediaplayer.
    hell, on Windows there's not even a p2p client, so they'd have to find and install one as well?

    And what about the "remix culture" reference? Manga and anime fandom is interesting because there are more people who do new/original stuff - and few who rehash the old stuff. And even if they "remix" (what a stupid word lessig came up with) they still do it their own way, not some dumb copy paste like what many CC-lovers do.

    and that this company has unknown owners? (most likely the 4 swedes, but they'd still have to prove it first?)

    How can a Swedish court order a private person to close a foreign companys property, that's not hosted in Sweden?
