I searched for "Food" in my hometown of Santa Monica, CA and the first 10 results I got back were all for Pet Food.
Various Petco stores accounted for 8 of the 10.
The alarm clock on my cell phone (Sony Ericsson T616) does that. It has the best UI of any alarm clock I've seen - You can type in the time you want the alarm to go off in actual numbers (not hour/minute buttons like actual alarm clocks) and choose the days you want the alarm to go off as well.
I don't know why anyone uses actual alarm clocks anymore, since I think most cell phones have these functions.
This is cool, but this company makes equipment and software that lets you do video scratching using an existing DJ vinyl turntable.

On behalf of all of us on MER, I'd like to thank everyone that's supported this mission, especially those slashdotters that have vigorously defended the purpose and existance of mars.
Thanks. I have always been a staunch defender of the existence of Mars.
They already do that during soccer games on Fox Sports World in the US. There are no breaks for ads in soccer (other than halftime), so they put an ad on the bottom of the screen for a few seconds, either squashing the picture, or just covering up the bottom quarter of the screen, even if the ball is in play in that part of the screen.
Laser engraving? Even the box it comes in looks exactly like the iPod box.
That's why we have eBay.
What is the AMS?

Yes, giving developers free reign is always the best policy for users.

Medieval battles WERE blunt and obvious. You want to see some guy in plate mail doing martial arts with "crazy footwork"?
...compared to the paragon of artistic integrity that is the Oscars. Titanic for Best Picture, anybody?
You mean AWOL, right?
Blah, blah, Ayn Rand, blah blah blah.
Anyone know what this guy is talking about?

How the hell is this "insightful??" Macs can use any LCD or CRT monitor and standard 802.11b/g equipment.
You know, a 2.5" 60 GB hard-drive costs about $150. Who's the moron here? Apparently you, since that's way too big to fit inside any iPod.
Thanks. I have always been a staunch defender of the existence of Mars.
How large did you "imagine" it to be? I had a dream once where I imagined a 100-foot iPod attacking my city.
I guess nobody told you that you can use a 2-button, scroll-wheel mouse with a Mac.
