They don't need a "concept of ethics." But there's the basic problem that if they have no problem with taking resources from another civilization, what problem do they have with taking resources from each other? Unless they are invincible they will almost certainly begin by taking resources from each other. If both you and I need a resource and one of us becomes short on it, we engage in conflict unless there is a sense of "ethics" or some basic moral guidelines. They can call it whatever they want but it's just a basic beginning to conflict ... in the wrong places of our world, you can get yourself killed for an iPhone or wallet. Those are resources.

They could very well be perfectly civil with each other, and perfectly destructive with anyone who is not of the same species.

Actually... what this means is that you shouldn't use the same password for more than one site. You should use an app that is encrypted and password protected to store all of your login info.

So will my identity get stolen because I use the same username/password on slashdot and a few gaming sites?

And personally I don't like having to type in a long password every time I start up firefox.

In a criminal case (which terrorism and conspiracy are) you do not want to let the suspect know you are on to them until the cops come to arrest them. With the watch lists, all a sleeper has to do is take a commercial flight, and they will immediately know if they are on a watch list.

Actually the most dangerous of the terrorists are not on the fly list, for that very reason. At least according to a Boston Legal episode in which Captain Kirk was on the no-fly list.

currently you have to run them in DosBox, and the resolution if fixed at 640x480

Huh? These are VGA games, 320x200 (or possibly 320x240). DosBox offers all kinds of output methods and scalers which can upscale the game to any resolution you want. For a lot of games, I prefer the HQ scalers (or the openglhq output method from some CVS builds). And the openglnb output method is best when you want to preserve the game's original look without the blurring/smudging caused by upscaling.
