So, carrying your analogy over to browsers (the GP's post was concerned with Firefox's problems), wouldn't your response be "use a non-shit browser," implying Firefox is a "shit browser"?
You used an OS comparison (DR- vs MS-DOS) with a browser comparison (FF vs IE). Then you go on to say it's the OS's fault (DR-DOS's) for the crashes in your example, saying it's FF's fault for the crashes through analogy.
Here's a tip: don't look at the "Memory Usage" tab in Task Manager; add "Virtual Memory Size" (View->Select Columns) and then look at that. VM Size is the correct memory usage of a program.
These lawyers were all making millions per year (the partners were splitting 8-figure profits every year). They were also working at least 80 hours per week.
Sounds less like being a lawyer ruins your life and more like being a lawyer who wants millions of dollars per year ruins your life.
In the Indian caste system, Brahmins (the intellectual caste) typically do not run the show. This is left to the Kshatriyas, who are kings, princes and warriors.
I'm confused by you and Wikipedia -- shouldn't that be "Hindu caste system"?
Don't forget that when it comes time to take standardized tests, the teachers literally take the test for special ed kids. I'm not joking -- this is what happens in Texas. I had a dyslexic friend who had a teacher looking over his shoulder helping him solve the questions on the TAAS test (the precursor to the current TAKS test).
Mixing classes doesn't work. Ever. You can boo and cry about removing the second-class-citizen barrier, but kids who have learning disabilities are inferior mentally, and no amount of education will make them normal. You are, to steal a phrase from Jon Stewart, hurting America by putting them in the same classes as normal kids, let alone with exceptional kids.
Now we find out through the mods whether I went too far in actually saying what everyone else on/. wants to say but doesn't.

Also, including people generally pigeonholed at different ones of these artificial levels tends to be better for all. A "special ed" person who is included in a "normal" class will learn how to be around "normal" people, and the "normal" people will learn the material better by helping the "special ed" person along.
No, that is complete fucking bullshit, and is partly responsible for the decline in public education in the US. That does not happen -- instead, the teacher must go over the same material over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over, until she finally gives up, and the year is over. The normal kids have learned the little material the teacher was actually able to go over that year, and the special ed kids have still not learned it. Take it from someone with teachers in the family -- mixing levels in the classroom does not work. It merely slows down those who are gifted; it does not accelerate those who are not.
It looks like this study avoided the pitfalls of earlier studies -- examing free-living populations.
There was a study performed by Harvard Medical that reached the same conclusions. The problem is, the subjects were all medical students and doctors (ie those who already had poor health were aware of a supposed link between caffeine and bad health). Thus, those had a propensity for certain diseases and health problems avoided caffeine, and instead drank decaf. The problem is, they had a propensity to poor health already, so the study showed that decaf "caused" poor health.
My probability professor used to bitch about studies like that. It looks like this one avoided those problems. Good for them.
Vivid, intense dreams that began to interfere with my perception of reality. At one point, I had difficulty determining if I was asleep or awake.
That's intensely fucked up. On the other hand, I've had dreams the past few nights that I've been doing Real Analysis. I should argue with my professor that his homeworks are not conducive to a healthy lifestyle.
It's such a "problem" that my University has, as part of its Computer Science degree curricula, a psychiatrist come and speak about addiction during class as a warning to keep CS students from becoming addicted.
I was pissed that my tuition dollars were paying for this.
Do you think those who could make a stink use P2P? No, they probably just get Jenkins to buy the CD for them (even if it is off iTunes). To them, downloading off P2P is more of a hassle than having it purchased for them.
Yes, focus your energies on taking all of Australia and New Zealand. Once you have all of the continent secured, move all your men to the one freaking invasion point of the continent. Then just happily receive the continent bonus while watching the other teams kill each other. Continuously send the bonus reinforcements into Asia, spreading forth your might, while preventing any other opponent from gaining the continent bonus of Asia. Eventually, you will have most likely gained all of Asia (now that you and only one opponent remain) and spread to other continents. You get Asia bonus and Australia bonus. Spread forth, and win the game.......
It's important to note that you cannot "sudo" into a non-password protected account. If you have, for example, an superuser account Admin, and you try to runas/user:admin "program.exe" when prompted for a password, if there isn't one set (a non-protected account), the command will fail and tell you that you need to set a password. This is the exact text of what I get when I run the command runas/user:Test "cmd", with the Test account non-password protected:
Attempting to start cmd as user "DOMAIN\Test"... RUNAS ERROR: Unable to run - cmd 1327: Logon failure: user account restricted. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced.

Use a non-shit logic, retard.

It's had it at least since Opera 5.5, when I started using it. Ctrl+Scroll wheel, baby!

I think that depends on whether the year is mod 4.
Dammit, I just used up all my mod points!

Britney Spears' audience is so narrow you could fit it through a pinhole--adolescent and pre-adolescent girls.
You forgot 50-year old men. And most of them are not narrow.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have John Dvorak posting here using another handle: zymano!

mathematics is PLURAL
No, "mathematics" is a singular noun that just happens to end in 's' in the same vein as "his", "pus" and "psoriasis."
"Math" is the American abbreviation for the singular noun. "Maths" is the UK abbreviation for the singular noun.
You keep using that word...I do not think it means what you think it means.

You, my friend, are addicted to 4chan. I suggest you stop using before it destroys your life, yes rly.

You get Iranian women using lots of Western cosmetics.

Did you just call broken homes the "bread and butter" of conservatives?

If you're a Home user, you can't give limited privileges
That's funny -- I'm running XP Home in a Limited User account right now. Are you sure about that?
