If it appears on P2P networks, it will likely be at a low bitrate (128k MP3 or something around there). While iTunes is only 128k AAC, you're still guaranteed that the album has been ripped properly, not just by some kid on KaZaA. I will definately be getting it from iTunes if this happens.
The world is not ready to switch to Linux as a desktop, and Linux isn't ready for the world to switch to it as a desktop. It is very confusing for people who have no computer experience, and even for some people who are good with computers. Personally I don't like Linux as a desktop yet either. On the server side, it's great. But in a desktop environment it's not very easy to use yet. I use Windows XP and I love it. As long as you keep your system updated, and not use IE, along with other things that should just be common sense, you will be fine. If everyone switched to Linux, everyone would start bitching that there are too many security holes and you would say "Switch back to Windows!" then the other Spartacus' will join in just like it is with Linux. Every OS has its flaws, it's just that not as many hackers will take their time on something that can't be used as widely.
I don't think you'll be able to build your own PVR. These broadcast flags encrypt the signal, so unless you're the NSA and can decrypt something like that within seconds, it's gonna be kinda hard.
Looking at the guide on my digicable, I see exactly 8 hours of G4 programming and 4 hours of TechTV programming over a 12 hour time span. Now I dunno about you guys, but something is really wrong with that.
I hope the new set for The Screen Savers won't look as bad as the G4 sets. Obviously G4 has a main audience of six-year-olds, judging from the colorful bubblegum sets.
Maybe they'll start to realize that they need to bring some of the tech back when they notice people aren't watching the channel! Personally all I've watched on the G4TechTV is The Screen Savers and G4TV.com, since those are the only two good shows they've left.
You CAN'T tell me that you don't see anything wrong in a 40 year old man having sex with a 6 year old girl. Everything is wrong with that!
Think about it.. first off she's 6 years old. Even if she didn't wanna have sex with anyone, theres no way she could get out of it, which would then turn it into rape. Secondly they are called sexual consent laws. Is she over 18? I don't think so..
Oh, man... not another one already! It's such a waste of money to buy top-of-the-line graphics cards. My Radeon 9600 runs Doom3 just fine.
Should we ask what the other 10% consisted of?
Porn.
Maybe your minutes won't run out when you're on a WLAN network? That sure would be nice!
The ultimate in laziness. Now I can use my iPod and remote at the same time.

uhm.. dude.. that's 40,000,000,000 bytes, it's just displayed that way because technically 1024 bytes = 1kb
I hafta get a new TI next year anyway for school, so this will be great!
