'cause if it is, then all you have to do is replace "binary distribution" with "asp/php/webscript" distribution. Just use the "Find and Replace" option in your favorite text processor...
the files are ok but, most of them are dredfully similar to their originals, using very limited sound ranges and polyphony; perhaps this was the authors intent.
However, as a musician, I would certainly like to throw some new instrumentation at these charts, and use the new freedom of polyphony thoroughly!
Also, the midi colors seem quite prevelent; lets hear some real live players milking this stuff up!
I'm tempted to go arrange some of that MegaMan3 stuff... loved the game when I was kid:-)
but last I checked, we human's tend to use 0's and 1's, instead of O's and 1's to represent binary.:-)
Go on, moderate me down. It's pretty bad, though, when I can't read one paragraph in SlashDot without finding several quite careless mistakes. If you think this is no big deal, try using Netscape, and see if the programmers found some bugs to be "no big deal" as well!
Alright, I'm offtopic now. Go on, take the karma...
it just sits around all day, waiting for my next keystroke, getting email, telling people on my buddy list where I am, downloading files, updating its clock, and it does just as I command... just like a perfect, well behaved slave! just how I like it
As much as I would love to use linux notation software, there is none even a little bit close to software like Finale or Sibelius or other windows notation packages. Althought they have steep learning curves, these programs allow you to do anything when it comes to notation... I can't imagine any of them will be matched with a linux equivelant unless someone is willing to put for some serious time ; personally, that's time I need to spend working on music....
on my good ol' 10baseT home network, I used to use TCP/IP for absolutely everything.. including file sharing. what I found out is that using NETBEUI as a protocol for file sharing speeds things up 100fold or more!! no joke!! so this could really speed things up.
Marginalization has resulted in good, cheap, hardworking, lots of interchangeability of X86 hardware!! This is a good thing! We only need one platform.. and we only need one OS.:-)

I would say that a good portion of what can be done on the desktop can be done in mozilla.
Unfortunately, I wanted to actually use the applications that I have on my desktop... not watch them crash every minute like in Windows or... Mozilla!
Yes, this is flaimbait- but also the harsh truth.

Horray for Pokey!

So does this mean, with my ati tv tuner and gatos working, that I could broadcast realtime video from my box?
For true stereo sound, you must stand in the middle of the speakers.. or wear the lightweight headphones and move as you wish...
but now with our quadriphonic systems we can move about quite freely and still get a good effect~
now apply this to current video technology.. it's on "mono"!
Sounds sorta like woodstock...
and bring yourself and your green and white colored cars for 3 days of peace, love, and beowulf clusters...
