    There will never be a way to render out high quality renders in real time. There isnt enough processing in the world or ram to catch up to the production demands.

    Global illumination models with indirect lighting, where multiple bounces occur throughout the scene... through glass, through motion blur... etc. Its just not going to happen. The amount of real time displacement mapping that is required is simply not possible. The ram processing demands are going to be ridiculous. Its why we cant render them out real time now.

    But we can render out videogames. Sorry Katz, you're a hack and a mouth piece of shit you dont know anything about.

    It should be considering it is the path to the machine that holds all of your personal information.

    When you get a key duplicated, a key maker can easily sell a copy of that key, and link it to your name. What if your name is Bill Gates? "This key here is for Bill Gate's personal safe, and this one is for his house, perhaps you would like a copy?"

    Just because its available, doesnt mean its not private, or doesnt come with some expectation of privacy. I dont expect the key maker to sell a copy of my key to someone who intends to harm me.

    FireFox has color management though so images look correct!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Google still has no clue about proper image/color rendering.

    Firefox GPU acceleration is far better and faster.

    Chrome is a fucking mess compared to firefox.

    As for the ram firefox uses, chrome uses just as much. Install adblock on both, watch the ram on both.. they will be about equal.

    Glossy screens do not make color accurate.

    Working in a color managed environment with color aware applications is what does. That means using calibration devices to measure all the color output of your devices, printers monitors etc... and creating color profiles.

    Glossy screens can make blacks look deeper, but also have a lot of glare and reflection. Pros arent looking for deeper blacks, they're looking for accurate blacks and color temperature. A monitor that puts out a good wide color gamut, that fits into the adobe rgb color space.

    Most monitors are too bright actually for accurate color representation.

    BTW, Maya eclipsed lightwave at version 1. Lightwave is practically useless in todays industry. It just hasnt kept up, it never could, it never did. Its not the old amiga days. Lightwave is pretty much dead.

    huh? 3d Studio max has ALWAYS been an autodesk program. I think you have things confused. It was developed by the Yost group for Windows NT, during the transition from DOS to windows, after 4 versions of 3dstudio for dos, made by autodesk and the yost group.

    It was never on the mac.

    Lightwave is also piece of shit.

    3dsmax is far more advanced, but its still old and shitty. I know, I was there from beta 1, and 3ds dos.

    Maya and Softimage are far better programs. Especially Softimage. Which are both available on a Mac, but as a professional 3D user since the late 90s... I would NEVER do 3D on a mac ever. It's just fucking dumb.
