Well, in some places in the "West," girls hit puberty at 9-10 and start having babies at 11-12. Many are so fat that they have big floppy fatty boobs by the time they're 13. And all the smoking and drinking they engage in also ages them quite a bit. No wonder people think that teenage Chinese women look like little schoolchildren and that adult Chinese women look like teenagers!
I don't know anyone in Norway who gives a shit about gymnastics. Especially when the whining about "shenanigans" comes from countries that produced, for example, Marion Jones...
Not only that, how is this a problem for anyone over 30? Once you're that old, you're not going to get carded.
The last time I was in the US, my boyfriend and I went to a really posh wine shop. After discussing and selecting wines with the owner for around half an hour, we took our wine up to the cashier, who promptly carded us. We were (and still are) both over 30.
To lose weight, resolve to split an entree with your dining partner when dining out.
How about not going out to eat at places that serve crap food in oversized portions in the first place? Or just ordering a salad with dressing on the side?
Having a lot of muscle is expensive to the body, so it'll tend to do away with it when it's "not needed" and if you live a life with little movement and exersize, the body will think the muscle is "not needed".
This is also why when you starve yourself to lose weight or whatever, the muscles are the first to go. When the body is in starvation and thus survival mode, it gets rid of what expends the most energy first. Bye-bye muscles...
By the way, aerobic exercise is not muscle-building exercise and may, in the long run, break down your existing muscle mass...
Hah! I once worked for a professer who would spew out article after article and brag about the number of articles he had published compared to the rest of the faculty. Most of the articles said pretty much the same shit...
While citation is not a perfect indicator, U.S. publications are more highly cited than those from other countries.
Who are they actually citing? An American researcher? A Norwegian researcher? A Chinese researcher? Just because the article is published in a U.S. publication doesn't mean the researcher is American...
A more direct way of saying this is "all blacks look the same," "all Asians look the same," etc.
My Chinese mom thinks all white people look the same. I (now jokingly) tell her all Chinese look the same and she says "oh, no no no, they're not..."
One of my best friends has been working in various parts of Africa for the past few years, says it took her some time before she was able to truly tell one black person from the other, the way she can tell one white person from the other.
I'm sure lots of other people here have similar stories/feelings...
My gripe is that there are no legitimate scientific studies concluding one thing or the other. The basis of the fad diet book is anecdotal "evidence"...
Humans come in different blood-types which have different needs
Are you thinking along the lines of that fad diet? Because there is NO scientific evidence/peer-reviewed research that shows that people with different blood types have different dietary requirements.
Larry Rome, a biology professor at the University of Pennsylvania, recently launched a company called Lightning Packs that aims to sell backpacks that generate electricity from the jiggling motion of walking. In a recent test, his prototype was able to produce about 15 watts of power from the up-and-down motion of the pack.
I was thinking something along the same lines, though harnessing energy from the up-and-down motion of fat bellies, fat asses, thunder thighs, etc...
I agree with you to some extent, as I live in a place where riding your bike as a form of transportation is possible. But for a lot of other people, it simply can't be done due to lack of proper bicycle lanes or otherwise roads that are safe enough for bicyclists. (Or pedestrians for that matter.)
I live smack in the middle of a major city and walk everywhere. I don't consider walking to be exercise. For me, walking is the way to get from point A to point B, the same way a car/tram/whatever is a way to get from point A to point B. I work out (Krav Maga + gym stuff) 8-9 times a week. That, for me, is exercise. It makes me sweat. It gets my heart rate up. It works my muscles. Walking around just doesn't do it for me.
On the other hand, there are plenty of people here smack in the center of the city, especially Middle Eastern and South Asian immigrants (and here especially the women), who are rather roly poly. They don't exercise, at least not the way I exercise; it's not a part of their culture. They eat a lot of sugar and other refined carbs. They use a lot of oil in their cooking. They have to walk around from point A to point B too. But it's not making them slim and fit...

You burn about 2000 kilocalories per day just by existing.
Not necessarily; your basal metabolic rate (BMR) depends on your age, sex, weight, etc. and for a lot of people, a BMR of 2000 kcal a day is on the high side. Calculate your BMR here.
I wonder how many other countries will follow suit, that is, fingerprint visitors from the US and store their fingerprints and personal data in their criminal database. Brasil already fingerprints and photographs US citizens (and only US citizens) visiting Brasil...

Sorry, if you possess a squeaky clean image and spotless reputation, chances are you're far too frickin' dull and boring.
You probably also cruise for cheap gigolos in mens' rooms at highway rest stops...
Some of the South American penguins are found along the coast of Peru and around the Galapagos Islands...
Fat does not burn any calories at any time.

Um, I think you would have to spread them apart...
Yes, they are rather common. Here's an example of cheekbone implants gone wrong...
;-)
Now, would the computer be able to catch all of this? The after in relation to the before?

but you CANNOT deal with or *cure* your skin colour
Sure you can. If your name is Michael Jackson...
No, no, no, you don't get it. From TFA:

...that will collect the energy generated by all the jiggling rings of fat you see on most people these days?
I better make sure my Multi-Pass is up to date!
read about it here
