What a fuckin loser...jesus, no wonder people think starwars fans are losers...camping out for four months, when you can get tickets about 3 days prior? i hope he gets mugged.
Never further than a meter away? What a loser...go get some air every now and then... besides, this story is old, it was on hackaday.com 2 days ago...yay slashdot...
He's in deep shit not because he found flaws, but because he posted his findings instead of contacting the company...besides, in most EULAs, it says you can't reverse engineer...so if you go ahead and do it, then its your own ass you're fuckin...
some like to defeat copy protection, most like the social circles and ego they've got from being first to release or having the best stuff to offer.
Dude #1: So dude, what you do this weekend? I went out and got some ass, drank some beers, and got more ass...
Dude #2: I stayed at home all weekend and spent the whole time cracking Winzip 9.0...
Dude #1: Whoa...teach me....
Who cares about these people? They get a boost in their social circles?? The only friends they have are online...jeez...
Whats the big confusion? If you take something thats not yours, then it is STEALING. bottom line. doesnt matter if the door was locked, no WEP setup, nothing...
It doesnt take any of my time, since I dont sit there and stair at it.
Hehe, I guess I could have made sure I got my grammar right though...would that be a Microsoft problem, or a user problem?
Hardly ever...antivirus runs about once a month, and spyware about once a week. It doesnt take any of my time, since I dont sit there and stair at it. I spent more time trying to set up linux to work with my wireless card and sound card than I EVER have doing anything microsoft related. Linux may be better at certain things, and Microsoft may be better at others. Neither is better than the other, it's the user. Someone who knows everything about Windows is less likely to have trouble than some moron trying to set up Linux and leaving a bunch of security holes open. It also works the other way around.
it would be even EASIER if they did away with rebates, and just sold products with the rebate already figured in. Then you can return it and get what you spent, without fiddling with damn upc codes. Best Buy deserves to get ripped off, since most rebates rip a customer off anyways, if they dont send in their receipt, 6 upc codes, plus the "hidden" one that voids the rebate if it's not found.
Thats what you get for buying an eMachine:)
I try linux now and again, and can forrest gump my way through it, even update the kernel and what not. BUT, hardware is my number one issue. Software, I can find equivalents. But you can buy any piece of hardware within reason (ie not MAC stuff) and it will work. And if it doesnt work, you're a dumbass who cant provide a CD or go download a driver. I've tried Redhat 9, Mandrake 9, Mandrake 10 (Community AND official), Fedora Core, and Suse 9.0, and none of em can get my wireless card working. Granted, it's a Broadcom which sucks in itself. Even using the 2 tutorials on the Internet, it still doesnt work, so all my Linux is restricted to my laptop.
Bottom line, most people dont want to have to edit config files and do command line interaction. They want to click the icon, click finish, and continue on their way.
"I am wondering if anyone has found a hardware solution that can inexpensively be set up to handle 10 or more 250GB HDDs in a RAID configuration."
clear out some of the porno...good god, if you need that much storage on a personal setup, and it's not research-type data, you are pathetic.
Yay, a crappy bloated piece of software that cant read any other OS files..whoo hoo

This is the gayest thing I have ever heard of. "Merry Christmas, go play on your computer"...geez
if you spent $3000 to build a computer for one game, then you're a tard.
It was called a Leviathan, in Job and Psalms 104:26. Thought to be a Parasaurolophus or Apatosaurus.
fp...whoo hooo...
How many times are we going to calculate how long it would take him to listen to his collection?

its even cooler not to have to download a new os everytime a bug is patched
If you can't install an extension, then you're dumber than a retard humping a doorknob.
let the microsoft bashing, raise linux on our shoulders like 'Rudy' begin....
