PUGing a 5 man is bad enough, but if you are RAIDING with noobs, the fault lies with you. Find a guild or some friends who know what they are doing. The repair bills and frustration will make you hate the game. Then, it is no longer relaxing.
You are half right. Anarchy is not chaos. It is the lack of "unnatural laws." Unnatural laws are the ones that create an uneven benefit to one group or person. A natural law would be the freedom from harm for not interfering with anybody. An unnatural law would be forcing somebody to pay for a service they neither use nor require, aside from your forcing them to do so.
Most of the highways must be paved with good intentions, because they sure as shit don't use quality asphalt. The potholes are bad enough, but the "filled in" potholes are just as bad when they are "leveled" to 4" higher than the rest of the road, causing just as bad a dip when driven upon.
Please learn the difference between an OS and a session into a window manager. Just because your windows manager IS your OS does not mean you get to make assertions about other systems to which you don't understand.
Secondly, show me a system which reboots and is usable in 20 seconds. You may get your splash screen on Vista or XP, but beyond attempting to log in, you have nothing you can do.
If you don't save regularly in any document creation, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Firefox will pick up where you left off and while you may have lost some work, you have not lost everything.
This is not "in a City Environment" where you can close the drapes or simply talk more quietly. This is being OK with being monitored. You are an idiot. I know it may be hard to grasp right away. However, coming to terms with your own inefficient brain workings will at least put you at peace with yourself.
It may not appear meaningful to you, but in the scale of 1 HUMAN generation it can be used as a significant measurement. Sorry, you do not get to decide what is significant in terms that others find useful in non-technical ways.
I don't believe the parent was talking about a technological generation, but rather a genealogical one. Those are 20yrs, so in fact, in LESS than a generation we have gone from 8MB to 2GB.
Don't let the toss around those labels so carefree. Terrorist exert political influence by using fear. This would mean that much of our government are terrorists.
While a meth dealer is an horrible person and doing something destructive, they are not exerting their influence through fear and terror.
Terrorists are not killing to kill. They want their way and are using it as a mechanism to show "Anybody, any time. You are not safe. We will have our way."
Tell me that these constant wars and fear of renditions are not the government doing just that to us all.
Network boot still needs things like the MAC of the server, as do the new tables in the switches if the policy is harsh. Also, when your new bulb is in place, it WORKS. Imaging and configuring a machine is still a tedious process that takes minutes you may not have. You also have to have spare parts. In an infrastructure where money is tight, try convincing them to have spare ANYTHING, even fans or disk drives is a hard sell. They are the moving parts that are more likely to fail. The top parts to failure are: Disks, Fans, PSUs.
I'm glad to know your blade is fully configured upon install, just like the light bulb is. I have used blades. You have to catalog the new serial number (if you want any type of accountability or support), push out the OS and monitoring tools, Push out config changes and recover from tape.
That is much like "Get Ladder and Light bulb. Unseat bulb, replace bulb, put away ladder and throw out old bulb"
Think of it this way. The technological configuration in this case is as follows:
You, through your computer, make a request to them, through their server.
Their server responds and obliges
If this was not their intent, they screwed up. You have not "deprived" them of anything really except perhaps bandwidth. However, they have also not "kept you out"
Even in the case of trespassing, the usual implicit conditions require the posting of signs and notices of private property. Your presence on their property can damage it and if you take anything, including plant life or soil, you have deprived them of something, even if it is their serenity.
In this case, there appears to have been no marking and frankly the visibility of their site's content is the problem. The accepted practice in this context is the secure the things you do not want seen. They have not exersized their due diligence to prevent unwanted viewership. This is their own responsibility and they must deal with the issues in a technical matter.
However, in the case of your employer failing to pay you, there is a contract, verbal, written or implicit that dictates a rate of pay corresponding to time spent or work completed. In the case of MobiTV there is no contract associated or enforceable for the "users" of that content on an on open stream.
To make it clearer, if somebody were to put a TV in their shop window with new movies playing and say that only people who paid for it may watch and all others must leave a public sidewalk, it would be ridiculous.
They are essentially asking for that, since the internet is accessible to the public (albeit not for free like the sidewalk) and they are not taking sufficient responsibility for the restriction of viewing.
And a F/OSS company would release "Voltron" because the pieces, when put together form a more powerful unit, but it would totally be modular and scalable. However, the documentation would be 2 versions behind:).
In a system with potential for growth and multiple competing business it can build VERY good. High barrier to entry and essentially monopoly by geography cut into that. If you knew you had to stay ahead to stave off competition in order to succeed, you would innovate like it was your job. It would be.
Except he DID leap to a time way into his past because of a strong similarity in his genetic makeup to an ancestor. I don't know how that's possible without some serious crossing over of genes or some serious inbreeding, but whatever.
And when their "Windows Compatible" hardware and software no longer works on "The NEW Windows" as well as having to learn a new paradigm for where the controls are, why not switch to an integrated system like Fedora's YUM based, SUSE's YUM/YAST based or Ubuntu's Apt/Synaptic based systems? They are already being forced to learn something new and their chances of software working are hit or miss.

The hat offsets the mustache?

This is not coca cola. Releasing Windows 98 again won't make them millions.

you're still an idiot if you don't value privacy.
Just because you are too stupid to care about your own privacy does not preclude me from not only wanting it, but getting it as well.
You can also form an LLC acting as an S Corp for tax purposes. Read up on it.

Why o Why did I read that as "diddling the NSA" ????
2001 called and wanted its specious argument back. Emachines from the last 2 years are actually pretty good machines.

Getting something you should not, and for free, is stealing? Wow, I hope you kept the receipt for that law education. You need a refund.

And....nobody disagreed that point. While I am at it Pencil != stapler.
