In the case of MobiTV there is no contract associated or enforceable for the "users" of that content on an on open stream.
To make it clearer, if somebody were to put a TV in their shop window with new movies playing and say that only people who paid for it may watch and all others must leave a public sidewalk, it would be ridiculous.
They are essentially asking for that, since the internet is accessible to the public (albeit not for free like the sidewalk) and they are not taking sufficient responsibility for the restriction of viewing.
And a F/OSS company would release "Voltron" because the pieces, when put together form a more powerful unit, but it would totally be modular and scalable. However, the documentation would be 2 versions behind:).
In a system with potential for growth and multiple competing business it can build VERY good. High barrier to entry and essentially monopoly by geography cut into that. If you knew you had to stay ahead to stave off competition in order to succeed, you would innovate like it was your job. It would be.
Except he DID leap to a time way into his past because of a strong similarity in his genetic makeup to an ancestor. I don't know how that's possible without some serious crossing over of genes or some serious inbreeding, but whatever.
And when their "Windows Compatible" hardware and software no longer works on "The NEW Windows" as well as having to learn a new paradigm for where the controls are, why not switch to an integrated system like Fedora's YUM based, SUSE's YUM/YAST based or Ubuntu's Apt/Synaptic based systems? They are already being forced to learn something new and their chances of software working are hit or miss.
