    What a great way to score a bunch of free memory!
    (as the article states: "Well, that's where we hope we can help. TrustedReviews sent out an invitation to memory manufacturers to submit 2x 512MB modules of their budget and/or enthusiast level memory for us to compare, and those who bothered to do that have had their memory put through an exhaustive collection of benchmarks and torture tests to try to sort the wheat from the chaff."

    They killed Data the same way they killed Spock. Death is, more or less, an abstract concept when dealing with major characters in the Star Trek universes.

    I have hired my boss, so to speak, a few times. The biggest thing i keep in mind is that I am >nothandle engineers.
    As far as interviewing techniques, the 'behavioral interview' has alway been good for me - it gives me a good feel on how people react to unconventional situations.

    You are probably one of those idi^h^h^hpeople that insist on going 55mph on the freeway in the fast lane with traffic flowing at 75mph. There are times that passive civil disobedience is justified - especially for us true patriotic Americans that love our country and want it to be the best there is.

    I am currently downloading 3.4 EN at 235kB/sec down, 7kB/sec up. It will take less than an hour for me to retrieve the distro. Make sure you have your port forwarding on the firewall set up correctly, or the d/l will not work right (6346, i believe)

    That reminds me of the time that Carls Jr (a California Hamburger chain) started giving out bumper stickers, Black with white letters, that said "Eat Meat", with the Carl Jrs. logo on both sides. It wasn't longer before people started using a black marker to black out the "at" part of Meat :) Those bumper stickers didn't stay on the market for very long.

    Oh the memories ...

    eCos has been actively supported by the ex-eCos development team ( www.ecoscentric.com) and other developers since the day RedHat cut the team loose. It is a very nice embedded RTOS.
