C) They treat their employees as a "Throw away Commodity(sp)" 3) India should watch out as they will end up getting quite a backlash from Buddhists. 4) India Software, hmmm, I have dealt with them before, they have some issues also... A) Not know for their ability to produce on time or with all the features required. B) Known to cut corners and produce products that have more issues than other countries. C) Unstable development environment, when I have dealt with companies from India in the past there seemed to be a problem keeping employees at one company. 5)Wasn't Nigeria and Africa supposed to be undermining India in the IT Department. 6) It looks to me like China just wants to use India and still want's to keep it's trade with enemies of India, which could backlash in India.

  13. Who the Hell on Companies Claim iTMS, iPod Patent Infringement · · Score: 1

is working at the US Patent Office. I swear I think it is a bunch of freakin chimps and it just takes 4 or 5, or 6 years for them to get through the stacks that they are rubber stamping with approved(Assuming they see big colorfull logos on the paperwork for corporations). This is getting outrageous(sp), the patent system was designed for individuals to use to protect the innovative ideas, not for corporations to use to beat people over the head with. Now I am not defending apple, as they have used patents in the past to beat people over the head with, however, using a Credit Card for verification without charging it has been around long before the patent was filled. And as far as the other patent it describes any jukebox which stores it's music in data format, and specifically points to CD Jukebox's and players. Patent Number 6587403 The worst part of all of this is that now Europe will be under the same obnoxious, idiotic, corporations that want to patent everything. At the rate patents are being allowed on previously existing items, and or ideas, pretty soon someone will patent the biological system of exchanging oxygen for carbon dioxide.

First, I work for a lawfirm with about 18 people that is higly technological (And generally only has a problem maybe once a month, fo which I am the only IT person). They understand I have a pay as you go cell phone in my car that is HARDLY ever turned on (In fact only 3 people have the number) and that it istoo expensive for me to be receving phone calls on. I am in talks with them to get a pager that the systems would call if there is an issue, but overall they know that they can leave a message on my answering machine, and I will get it fixed ASAP when I get home and get the message. If I work late I e-mail the HR lady with my hours and come in those many hours late the next day. However I enjoy the fact that everyone seems so pleased and overall very happy with me that I could fix it sometime before work so everything was humming for them when they got in. I enjoy it when people are happy with me and gennerally the problem might only take an hour. Also for me it has helped when it came tme for a raise the owner said he loved my work and how fast (even if it was 3-4 hours after I got the message) and didn't mind me coming in late. My Schedule includes monday afternoons off because I usually work a few hours at night a week just so I can get stuff done, usually from home, but they don't care.Overall they understand that I might be at home and help them right away, I might get to it in a couple hours, or it might have to wait till tommorrow. But, anyway when i do fix stuff from home, they think it is fantastic of me and it reflects on me, and also on my raises.
