    Just my own personal anecdote to add:

    I went through an Apple phase for about 3 years.

    That phase just ended and I built a PC from parts I ordered from NewEgg.

    It has never been better to be a PC enthusiast right now (especially with SSD technology)

    When I picked up a Xoom on the launch date, I was very disappointed to witness the lack of high profile support.

    They seem to have fixed it with the 3.1 update. However, I am refering to 720p content, no idea if 1080p high profile is supported yet. I'd wager a guess of 'no'

    Its very deceptive marketing for nVidia to claim they do 1080p playback...

    There are FREE android apps out there that let you monitor xbox live gamercards and some even raise notifications when a friend has signed in.

    The one I use is called 1337pwn, totally free.

    I hit the 4GB limit for the first time a few days ago. I was attempting to stitch together about 10 RAW images into a panorama in photoshop(cue adobe jokes). This was occurred on the latest model of macbook pro with 4GB of RAM.

    It really sucked hitting that limit because the HDD started thrashing like a mofo and I couldnt complete the job.

    8GB for me from now on...

    Call me a bitter old man, but wake me up when they have cheap HDR displays available to purchase so we don't have to do tonemapping on HDR images. I've been into HDR for a while and tonemapping KILLS hdr, it makes it look cartoonish.

    There are VERY few cases where I have seen HDR done right. Everyone thinks HDR means using bloom like its going out of style... /grumpy
