Sure, Wikipedia is a dynamic living creature, much more than an old fashioned stack of books, It seems that some people that edit the articles just dont "get" what wikipedia is about and sidetrack from the topic. Instead of describing what an apparatus can do and what its used for, some editors insert if runs linux and how you can install it on the apparatus...how nice..

Apple doesnt make a lot of money per song, the largest part goes straight tot the record companies..They hardly make a profit right now with iTMS. Rumors are that the table is not round, but oval. Is the thinnest table on the market (thin as a pencil) and has a color surface. Some talk of video capabilities in future table models. 21. OS X on a PC on First Look at Apple's Intel Developer Macs · · Score: 5, Insightful

No doubt that they will eventually get OS X to work on a generic PC clone. It will probably take some serious work around and then you have the driver problem. nobody can get an airport extreme to work on a mac right now with any version of linux, so driver's are goign to be a problem.

But since Apple won't officially allow it to install OS X on any other computer but a mac, nobody will ever be able to sell a computer with OS X pre-installed. So it will enver get mainstream and i'm sure Apple will have few sleepless nights because a few geeks have it running on their generic PC box.

  25. Speed of Sound on iTunes More Popular Than Most P2P Sites · · Score: 5, Informative

Coldplay's new single "speed of Sound" sold extremely well thru itunes, thats because it was released the day after the first airplay. I run a Coldplay fansite ( http://closingwealls.net/ - blatant plug) and following the news around the band, it seems that the single was one of the most downloaded songs ever on itunes, because of that fact. This has proven to be a very succesfull formula. Publish the single online the same day as it hits the airwaves, and people dont have to listen to the radio to hear it, for a tiny dollat they can lsiten it legally whenevewr they want. thats a huge incentive. Of all the legal downloadservices, iTunes gets it the best and is probably right that subscriptions dont work.
