Weird how this fits with the Bush's charm offensive in Europe, i wonder how much he paid for this.

I used a similar tool called zap on various unix servers back in 1989-93. It completely wiped all process traces from ps output and even took care of who and lastlog commands. The toole required root privs but i suspect that these rootkits require WNT/W2K admin privs as well since they write to system directories.

It seems to me that the most televised events are also the ones generating the most dramatic results. It would be interesting to surround one of these eggs with a bunch of televisions and see what the various electronic emissions does to the random numbers. Something must happen when a billion televisions are turned on at approcimately the same time....

Iran and Iraq trade oil in Euros... Eh... No.... Iraq *used* to trade oil in Euros, now they are back to dollars.

But Iran still does..... Hey, wait, aren't they next on the axis of evil list ???...

Weird... Looks like the whole world will be speaking dollars again.

Agree If you install Linux without knowing what you are doing you will likely run into stability problems because of bad drivers etc. The same thing applies to XP which, if installed correctly, is just as stable a linux box. All the privacy features that people whine about can be turned off and disabled via group policies. I never get BOD on any of my XP or W2K3 installations. And i don't get crashes on my Gentoo boxes either. It's all in the hands of the installer

With regards to the content on TV becoming dumber and dumber, I guess they need to target the demographic that believes the adds and that would have to be people with the IQ of something that is half a step ahead of microbial life AKA viewers of ricky lake and reality tv.
