so we keep the gas tax but still have a new tax based on mileage, yes that's double dipping. Except for the very few vehicles that don't use gas/diesel.
No, its not Executive Order 13526 Section 1.1(4)(c) Classified information shall not be declassified automatically as a result of any unauthorized disclosure of identical or similar information.
Step parent or not doesn't matter. Agreed however its definitely had to believe no one noticed a real loaded weapon and a 3 year old handling it. Even for a big 3 yr old, a loaded.380 Smith & Wesson would be difficult to handle.
Not to rain on your hate parade, but in addition to the comments about the CONF files, the registry also makes Windows much easier to manage on an enterprise scale.
I can create an application, put its settings in the registry, and boom -- I can manage it through an MMC for thousands of computers with only the creation of a policy template to change settings.
The misunderstanding of the registry's use is always what people hated about it, sadly.
Because its nearly impossible to edit a file remotely through scripting. Right..
Besides if Microsoft went this route they would modify the interface so you could still use policys to edit it just as you always did.
how did this get modded insightful? this is a plain and simple troll, he is comparing "Linux" to a single company of Microsoft Then when he is confronted by an idea of apt-get (debian) which manages packages for him and all dependancies he wants "Linux" universally use this method. To be fair he needs to argue a distro (I don't care which one) vs Microsoft
I don't argue with his idea, just his presentation. I personally think microsoft is doing the right thing, but it still does many things wrong that most major Linux distros have done for years.
Be honest though, how many of your friends or family members will do either of these?
Its more like buy a computer off the shelves, possibly with XP SP1 and not even think about SP2 until the little popup tells them its availible, then ignore it until they talk to a local guru. By the time all this has happened it is at least 4 hours after the first break in already occured.

from the article:
Thin client computing lets users run applications on a remote server and display the results locally. NX Client works something like VNC (see our recent story), but instead of using Remote Frame Buffer protocol, NX Client acts as an X Window server. Thin clients help contain costs by eliminating the need to install applications at each user's desktop, and improve security by limiting the availability of applications and data. The clients themselves can be dedicated hardware devices or regular computers running thin client software.
I can't believe this has been modded "Insightful" and has a score of 5 (which puts it on my browsing level), this should be modded as troll.
I don't agree with many points of the US judicial system, but that doesn't make it anything close to what killjoe has documented here. If you don't like the system there are ways to change it or just move out of the country if you are too lazy.
Someone please metamoderate this to something more respectful.
since this is distro/OS whoring time Debian also has this fixed. I just checked right now, but according to the timestamps on the servers it looks like it took place around 11:00 today.
I have a VW Golf diesel and it doesn't smoke except the puff when it starts on a cold morning. Smokey diesels are much a thing of the past, on top of that I get around 50mpg and gas prices are rising far faster then diesel costs. Even if petro costs get too high I can still get biodiesel which only costs a bit more right now, but has the benefit of running cleaner. I think American automakers should spend more time perfecting diesel and biodiesel and less time making huge SUVs.
you only pay $7.50? Tickets around here are $9.00 and if I prepay for them online its $10.00 not counting any shipping charges. Thats another thing that drives me nuts, $1.00 service charge for an automated system which has to be cheaper then the fool that works the ticket window. More scams to boycott...

about your door open sensors, if you feel like getting your hands dirty and have an extra hour, that $500 replacement can become $1. http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=77648&page=3

To be fair, you should also mention that Debian supports 10 architectures
* Alpha
* ARM
* HP PA-RISC
* Intel x86
* Intel IA-64
* Motorola 680x0
* MIPS
* MIPS (DEC)
* PowerPC
