    Nobody cares about their damn privacy

    I do I don't own a smartphone I don't own a tablet I pay with cash as much as possible I refuce to give my email address of zip code during all purcheses. There are millions of people just like me. I send emails to my elected officials complaining about hidden data collection and the need for opt-in only. nothing will change unless you stop buying theses devices it wouldn't take long for them to change either a week? maybe a month? Money talks its the ONLY power we have and we don't use it. Boycotting is the only thing that will change the tide.

  11. You cant know the door is unlocked unless you try to open the door. The only way that should happen is you knock/ring doorbell HOMEOWNER opens the door. If you try to open the door you are breaking and entering. There is zero reason you should be seeing if the door is open unless you see smoke or fire or a dead person IN the already open door. Being curious is no valid reason to try to open a door or use a default password people for whatever reason don't change. Keep Out

    Got to disagree with ya on that one. you still have a lot of personal information in your wallet. not something the normal thief cares about, but a seasoned pickpocket sure does. And when you get robbed/looses your cash is gone forever nobody going to replace the cash in your wallet.

    Who do you trust? The merchants who want to use you as the product or someone who sells you the product.

    Everyones data mining and everyone's selling everyone's data. A business like Facebook its painfully obvious, the user is the product. Apple they are both so is MS. So unless you pay for everything in cash you are being mined by everyone. What we lack and our lawmakers are dragging there asses is forcing them to give us real options as in opt-in. If they were forced to give that option they dam sure would make it easy to find as apposed to digging to find an opt-out. Ever notice almost all of our public servers were/are businessmen and women many millionaires ..IMO taking care of there own.

    hmm that reminds, me what ever happened to internet over electric cables? The elect company's are not saving and replacing old infrastructure as they should be. I've seen plenty of news stories about how bad our grids are and how everything needs to be replaced but is not. Who owns the cables??

    Ya this has been going on for years in the US. they gave up mostly because loosing the PC warrantee was just to great a loss. They wanted the manufactures to honor the PC warrantee after reformatting and installing a unsupported OS "Linux" lol didn't happen. This ruling is just dumb and not well thought out. but that's the only friendly market they "Linux" have, the EU.
