You believe in global warming because you side with the experts. Is that scientific?
Do you live in an area of the world where weather changes day to day? My local meteorologist is an expert in the field of weather. He is often wrong. I take him with a grain of salt. And- he is privy to the most sophisticated weather models and information.
Now, he can't get the three day forecast right with any consistency. I am supposed to take it as rote that these 30,50 and 100 year models are accurate?
Sorry. I am not an expert in climatology or even local weather phenonmenon, but I will venture to say that field is not a science yet. Start getting the 14 day forecasts correct, and I will start listening to your 14 year ones.
I cannot say a bad word about chipscope, it is a great tool- but I must say that Mictor connectors do not disrupt the timing of the circuit if implemented correctly. Mictor means matched impedance connector. And often times, you need to look outside the device. Chipscope and its Altera equivalent are for internal signals, and the amount of data you can view depends on how much memory you have left in your device. An external logic analyzer has infinite more samples.
I agree, the jury is still out on global warming by man made CO2 emissions.
Beside, I can't get an accurate 3 day forecast, now I am supposed to rely on a 50 year one? Get the week right first, then I will listen to your models.
I agree. It doesn't make sense. Europe is not only far more dense, but also has had a much higher usage of cell phones for a much longer period of time than the US.
I second this. Second Copy is excellent. I had a three PC network and used this tool on my machines. I would mirror all my critical folders on the other machines. It is great and does incremental backups, so the mirrors are very up to date.
In the first case where the fuel is made from turkey inards and what not- that makes alot of sense. The stuff is going to be throw out anyways- and if the energy output is much greater than that of transporting the stuff to the site plus the energy used in the process- it is a real win for the company and the environment.
The second part where the fuel comes from peanut or other oils- I fail to see how that can be beneficial. Farm tractors burn diesel to harvest the peanuts, fetiziliers made from and processed with petroleum are throw into the field, and then energy is needed to harvest the oils. If this can all be done with some much greater output than input- then great- but from what I have seen- often times these other factors are not taken into account.
I think it does. Ask someone who is paying $4000 a month for a studio apartment in any major city if it matters. I am looking to put a NAS box out in my woods for backups in case the house goes up in smoke. I was going to bury a power and CAT-5E cable out there to some sort of enclosure. The smaller- the better.
Of course- my big problem is the elements and heat for this project. Anyone ever seen anyone do something similar? I was ever thinking something buried- perhaps a cooler or something weather resistant (heat an issue here).
My hope is that companies see their overseas operations operating much more efficiently.
IT Guy: Our pipe is full because we are backing up our systems to our office in Hong Kong. President: Why don't we back them up here. IT guy: I can't buy the necessary media legally here. President: Why not? IT Guy: Congress passed a law to protect the media industry President: Let me mention this to Ted Kennedy when I play golf and get liquored up with him on Tuesday.
mentioned in the article is free- both MS anti-spyware and Google News. I think this is a little bit different if it is a product you pay for. Many people had problems recently with Civilization IV and the XBOX 360. Being paying customers- these people have been heard screaming in various message boards.
Drug companies do beta test their drugs. Usually- they pay the recipient to take them.
It is quite possible now that standards could be developed where they simple ignore the US market. Certainly it is the biggest in the world right now- but if they got flack from the RIAA/MPAA cronies in Congress-- they could simply say- ok- you can't have this great technology. They could sell in Japan, Europe, China, India, etc.... Companies and individuals would see these things saving money/time provided by this media in their overseas operations-- and then they would start hitting their Congresspeople ever harder than the media industry ever could.
That is right- because the price of electronics has proven to be a constant throughout the past 20 years. Things never- ever- get easier to produce and cheaper with time.
1. Lay on couch.
2. Ask girlfriend for coffee.
3. Wait
4. Coffee magically appears.
The biggest profiteers will be the nuclear crowd. That is in fact how this whole push for man made global warming got started.
Do you think a couple of degrees will really do alot to rocks?

That sucks.

Maybe pure saline is a pain reliever in itself. Try a different placebo.
Live free or die baby....
Like Craigslist-- oh wait.....
I am sure somehow they will discover a way to blame this on the Bush administration.
Mologogo does what you are looking for at a fraction of the cost.
is passing in this thread- but Office Space was the best documentary I have ever seen.

Shit- why stop there. I could really cook it I have four hands to type.
It is the Wall Street Journal we are talking about here.
IT Guy: Our pipe is full because we are backing up our systems to our office in Hong Kong.
President: Why don't we back them up here.
IT guy: I can't buy the necessary media legally here.
President: Why not?
IT Guy: Congress passed a law to protect the media industry
President: Let me mention this to Ted Kennedy when I play golf and get liquored up with him on Tuesday.

The point is- you get what you pay for.

If you build it- they will come.
I remember when I bought an Intellivision when I was a kid- and the guy who sold it to me told me not to but it on the carpet- but on a table.
