The script kiddies know how to bring things down in, perhaps, ten of a hundred different ways. The remaining ninety are known by the actual experts with jobs.
How much data does Pokemon Go use in an average day, anyway? Is it enough that this will matter, or is T-Mobile just promoting themselves with a feel-good measure?
Considering I was playing a fully functional NES emulator (NESticle, I think it was called) some 15 years ago if not more, I really don't think there is that much work involved today. Especially not if you have a Wii (U) and access to the Retro section of the game store.
Any child psychologist would see the full quote and think, "Hmm, the father started by exaggerating a bit to make his kid look good, realized he wasn't being truthful and corrected himself to 'seldom cries'."
TFS mentions he jumped shortly after takeoff, so the margin of error isn't too great. It would increase exponentially the longer they were in the air, true, but if he jumped, say, 15 minutes after takeoff the variation wouldn't be incredibly great - especially if he had a helper on the ground that could come pick him up.
Still, I'm sure the FBI have gone over all those theories in the past 45 years, this is just off the top of my head movie-plot thinking.
The moment everyone has the same access to easy, reliable and uncapped internet as they do over-the-air TV, then the TV channels might have to consider torrents or some other form of streaming.
I would think a degree of separation for starters. A person with malicious intent that gets hold of his GMail address doesn't get to know the domain name of his more important email address.
Yeah, I'm sure having access to a long list of reply notifications from Slashdot, not even containing the reply itself (really, can we get that sometime?) is going to be really, really valuable to a spammer.
50 Euro/month, 2 GB data cap, throttle to 64 kbps when you pass it for the rest of the month. 100 Euro/month, 3 GB data cap, throttle to 64 kbps when you pass it for the rest of the month.
And so on and so forth. They already do it with 4G, why not 5?
Yes, I really did see the other day a data plan for 21.6 mbps downstream, 1 GB monthly data cap and 64 kbps throttle.
Yeah, if you sell it.
If you give it away for free you face several lifetime convictions for treason. See: Edward Snowden.
Like from orbit.
With a nuke.
It's the only way to be sure.
So basically John Deere is reserving the right to cancel any of these licenses, impound the farmer's tractors, and put him out of a job?

If you have nothing to hide you shouldn't mind severe scrutiny and observation!
Right? Isn't that how it works?
If someone didn't like blue they could sue God (let the Catholic church represent him in absentia) for the color of the sky.

So, horse vs. early stages of self-driving cars.
Go.

What if he'd prepared a spotlight of some sort to aim for?
Alright, I will admit to that particular point.
The moment everyone has the same access to easy, reliable and uncapped internet as they do over-the-air TV, then the TV channels might have to consider torrents or some other form of streaming.
Sadly those days still seem very far off.
It is 'that one spot' you haven't checked yet, I guess.
Ever run through any maze game looking for that one last enemy, or chest, or whatever else may be in a limited but known quantity?
Anyone that wants to decide when Windows lags them out of stuff in the interest of downloading updates, for one.

Wouldn't it fall under OSHA laws, though? Can an employer legally expose his employees to pathogens under threat of being fired if they refuse?

No, that's where he keeps the joystick.
Is it really objectively worse than E.T. for the C64?
Hey American, as a European it seems completely insane that you have ONE COUNTRY with FIFTY different sets of laws depending on your current location.
Or deaf.
Pricey 5G justified by "This is new technology that is expensive to implement, give us more money".
