    How much data does Pokemon Go use in an average day, anyway? Is it enough that this will matter, or is T-Mobile just promoting themselves with a feel-good measure?

  8. Considering I was playing a fully functional NES emulator (NESticle, I think it was called) some 15 years ago if not more, I really don't think there is that much work involved today. Especially not if you have a Wii (U) and access to the Retro section of the game store.

    TFS mentions he jumped shortly after takeoff, so the margin of error isn't too great. It would increase exponentially the longer they were in the air, true, but if he jumped, say, 15 minutes after takeoff the variation wouldn't be incredibly great - especially if he had a helper on the ground that could come pick him up.

    Still, I'm sure the FBI have gone over all those theories in the past 45 years, this is just off the top of my head movie-plot thinking.

    The moment everyone has the same access to easy, reliable and uncapped internet as they do over-the-air TV, then the TV channels might have to consider torrents or some other form of streaming.

    Sadly those days still seem very far off.

    I would think a degree of separation for starters. A person with malicious intent that gets hold of his GMail address doesn't get to know the domain name of his more important email address.

    5G Price Tiers:

    50 Euro/month, 2 GB data cap, throttle to 64 kbps when you pass it for the rest of the month.
    100 Euro/month, 3 GB data cap, throttle to 64 kbps when you pass it for the rest of the month.

    And so on and so forth. They already do it with 4G, why not 5?

    Yes, I really did see the other day a data plan for 21.6 mbps downstream, 1 GB monthly data cap and 64 kbps throttle.
