errr, a bit off topic, but, does this physical property make the building of a light-sabre a la star-wars more likely?
A friend and I used to discuss building one and agreed that the problem would be stopping the laser, seems like there is a possible solution, or at least a direction. Thanks interesting info.
OLEX is a nice piece of commercial mapping software that runs under Linux, and to my knowledge there is a lot of very positive feedback from the local fisherman in the area where I work, Scotland, West Highlands.
Yes, geeks need entertainment too, and usually of a certain type, Philip K Dick, Star Wars, Hitch-Hikers guide to the Galaxy,The Matrix and many many others, you will find there is a games section too, all valid news for us slashdotters:)
This is not the first time this has happened by a long way, and it's not just French cars, most have been Ford models. Just scroll down and see the accounts of lots of manufacturers who have suffered with this issue alleged or true.
Why not? People actually think Alcoholism is a disease.
And if you know of someone who suffers from it you may well find that this is indeed the case. Alcoholics do not become so through the consumption of too much alcohol, rather they consume too much alcohol because they are alcoholics. The condition exists, the alcohol is one of many symtoms. Most medical dictionaries have alcoholism marked as a disease
Isn't this just the same level of unfounded speculation that the journalist has placed on the open source community? Accusing him of being a Darl employee is rediculously unfounded IMO. No offence.
