I was once a avid viewer of TechTV when it first came out and was struggling to exist. I was glad when it suceeded because I use to move around alot and it was nice to be able to watch The Screensavers in relativly small cable markets (like Danville, KY) Then it seemed all of a sudden, the programming quality went down the crapper. I always thought that the channel "had too much on its plate" so to speak. It kept the "flagship" programming, but changed formats/hosts so rapidly that it seemed to destroy it. Too hard to keep up with all those changes...Cute girls, though.
I don't know if I like the idea of Comcast buying out TechTV though---I would almost rather have AOL-TW buy it...But I am glad it wasn't MS. The channel has been running so many MS/N ads lately I thought they had.
BTW, I remember when Leo was the host of Call for Help....I really enjoyed that show when he was there. So they had to replace him with Chris Pirillo...what the hell happened to Chris anyway?

Interpol??? You would open your door to Interpol???
and it looks like a combination of Google Toolbar and Yahoo Companion. The usual search items but you can also go to 'my msn' etc.
geez, I was wondering when M$ would tackle that one...
Really? My folks would swear that although the Edsel was quite ugly, it was "ahead of it's time" and therefore couldn't sell.
My vote would be for the AMC Gremlin.
I live in Arizona. Interstate 19 between Tucson and the Mexican border mileposts are in km and the speeds are in km/h. There are plans to convert I10 I8 and I17 to metric as well.
When was the last time you went to Safeway and bought a half gallon of Coke?
I just started going to school at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff as a CIS major. I was wondering if anyone had ideas of whether I would be better off continuing my studies towards a four-year degree or should I just try for certifications??? The fact that I'm 29 years old with a family and only a freshman is making me want to finish quickly, but is the problem with finding IT jobs widespread or is it localized to certain areas???
I sure would like some advice on this. I'm borrowing too much money to go to this school anyway...
I totally agree with you, there. I don't want a cell phone for the simple reason that if anyone can reach me 24 hours a day, then I no longer have the control over who can reach me and when. I have owned one in the past, and those things make me feel as though I'm at everyone's mercy. No longer could I plan my day the way I saw fit, but I had to plan my day according to what someone else thought I ought to be doing. To me, it's a freedom and privacy issue. I feel for those who are enslaved to those things.
So....since New Coke flopped and Coca-Cola came out with Coca-Cola Classic, does that mean we should be expecting "Star Trek: The Enhanced Original Series" or something like that???
2.7 million on KaZaA as of 10:40PM MST I remember back in March-April 2004 of at least 4-6mil on at any time... One month ago I rarely saw more than 1.5 Perhaps the report is true of an increase in numbers.
