The Australian BOM has great website and their HTML is setup so you can easily find the information and use it yourself. My room-mate has setup our houses internal page on a PC hooked up to our TV, not only does it control our X10 and show any upcoming events and unread e-mails, but it also gives us the current weather conditions, straight from the BOM site.
Similar, but not quite... My housemate and I recently brought GTA San Andreas and whilst driving around heard Wil's voice and I said something "Hey cool, it's Wil". My housemate wondered what the hell I was talking about and he's a few years older than me. Went through the obvious choices (like ST TNG) and he only got it when I finally mentioned Stand By Me.
I LOVED Crossbows and Catapults. Really fun to have to build a strong defence then try to find your opponents weak spots. Brilliant game, if I had kids I'd buy it for them.
Actually, I'm not talking about the packs you buy from a store, I'm talking about a full on game that has regional, national and even international tournaments. I'm not talking about a bunch of college kids either I'm talking about guys and girls from 15 - 50 who love it as a SPORT and want to be the best there is at it. There are plenty of rules and regulations and being a ref was a great experience. I don't belittle your acheivements so don't belittle mine. I was VERY proud to make the national team and consider it an honour to have played with the people that I did.
I used to play indoor laser skirmish at both a regional and (once) a national level. I also spent a couple of years referee-ing the regionals. What you've described here is pretty much what the ref's use to deduct points and remove players from the game.
... who is working on similar research. She intends to make this sort of thing for quick and easy tests for diseases instead of the painful, long process of blood tests and swabs. Make a protein and "program" it to look for a certain disease, if it finds that disease it "grabs" it and signals to you that it's there. Think of the uses for this, doctors could difinitively diagnose patients in a matter of minutes, with just little protein. It's a great idea.
Oh Yay, MS is continueing support of 98 I'm so thrilled I might just poke my eyes out with a can opener. While I've got nothing against people using 98 and I understand the cost of upgrades isn't easy to cope with think of those of us who write software for the windows market. There are so many problems and bugs that ONLY crop up under 98, and when so many people are running this system they expect you to support it. When I heard MS was dropping support of 98 I was over the moon, it meant we had grounds to drop our own support of products running under 98, now I learn I have to support this travesty for longer, oh gee, fun... NOT

Nice to hide behind an anonymous coward there.

Who says he's not a hunk already? There's plenty of people who think Wil's a hottie as is.
Is there an opening for someone to play the leech?

Eat up Martha
Yeah sure Sal.
It can't have, the baby is still there. Here in Australia you can tell if the dingo did it cause they eat the babies too.
Why would he think anyone would beleive him? It's dicks like Sal that give dicks a bad name.

It's as exciting as cold excrement???? Where can I buy tickets????
Gee, you don't want much do you? Minimise your standards and you'll find something to fit them.
