The mod does work as a functional controller, not just for linux running, as lots of Counter-Strike fans use this to play CS for X-box old-school style.
But that's probably becasue many slashdotters can't just put down an opinion on something like this discussion, 'cause most people don't have opinions on fusion energy like they do on censorship, or how "M1cr0$0fT IS THE DEVIL" or graphics cards, or any other slashdot topic. so i guess they're figuring "if i can't be smartest person here about it, i might as well be funny"
which was shortly followed by:
"So about those two guys we picked up"
"What two guys?"
"Those two guys we picked up"
"oh, those guys"
Which i found to be a hilarious way to start a conversation between Zaphod and Trillian
if you think the circuitry is the coolest part you might wanna take a quick glance at this mod
I've seen a mac that needs(i use the word loosely) it's case modded as much as any other PC i own.. classic beige G3 tower... it's not a particularly beutiful machine
Who says that casemods can't be productive/useful. I mean, if you're looking into overclocking your processor, then you need extra cooling... as long as you're going with water cooling, why not just go all out like this guy did and make it something for all us slashdot nerds to drool over.
Admittedly many aren't too useful, but like the man before me said... working on all that stuff can be quite entertaining
also just my.02
Ah, gotta love monsoon season. Alot of times since rain and storms in general are so rare (and so warm during that time of the year) I often will sit out in my driveway and just look around whenever there's any sort of storming going on.
I'd say we've had more rain than usual this year, so that's always nice.
hmm... last time there was a thunderstorm a decnt distance away that knocked out power and now an old Emachines of mine won't seem to start up... probably going to have to replace the power supply, and buy a surge protector
i remember finding that a while back when seeing if there was an iTunes version for linux... and all i found were links to "how to set up a server for all your itunes files from a linux box"
of course, by in a landfill you mean 'being used by somone else'... back in the day they actually used their own set of film for disposable cameras... now it's just a film roll and cheap plastic parts. if you finish off a roll of disposable film, you can just crack the thing open and get the film roll out.
on to the topic...
a swim school around here takes underwater pictures with a nice 35mm camera, which they sell to the parents of the little kids who swim. They consulted me about buying a digital camera and doing their pictures from there. at this point, they're sticking to the 35mm film and not going digital yet.
Feel free to try, and succeed.

another intetresting thing:
" included a built-in microphone"
aren't phones already supposed to have a microphone?
umm...
But can it emulate OGG?

or maybe i'm just making something up
who knows.

Because Hong-Kong sure is a country... it isn't a city or anything like that
I think you also forgot something like 13)cowboyneal (or is that just more common with the polls?)

Almost sounds like how Tribes and Tribes 2 are available for free download, because some new Tribes game is due out this summer. Yay free games
That's the reason i'm still on CS 1.5. I tried playing DOD the other day and couldn't connect, and I decided I cannot stand steam.
