I've got a TX2524 running ubuntu 9.04. I have absolutely no heating problems whatsoever, though it did overheat in Vista and earlier versions of Ubuntu. As well, my cores and frequency scaling work no problem.
In most parts of the world, food, water and shelter don't cost money. They cost you physical labour. Traveling to some of the 'poorest' parts of the world, i've seen more happy people than in any western city i've visited. I do have to say i was suprised by the amount of happy and actualized people i did see in NY.
Correction: you THINK you know how the world runs and you get depressed. Once you gain more knowledge and wisdom you eventually do figure out how everthing works and then you're happy again.
You can learn to enter flow immediately. Just like you can learn to enter into lucid dreaming from a waking state immediately. The west just doesn't know much about subjective states, given that science is obsessed with objectivity. BTW, i'm not saying this because some study says so, i'm saying it because i can do it and know others who can as well. Ask most good musicians, you don't have the luxury of taking 40 minutes to get into flow when a song lasts about 3-4 minutes.:)
Definitely integrated, it's installed by default on my laptop. However, it still doesn't detect my laptop as a laptop and it still doesn't work seamlessly. Thanks to you though, i have some where to start for the horrible battery life i have under linux:)
actually, there is no such package.
There is a binary named laptop_mode. However, it doesn't work on my HP TX2524. So, no doesn't work seamlessly, or work period. However, you are right, it is free!
You stop it by not being afraid to stand up for your beliefs. If nobody lived in fear of what others would think or do to them, a lot more would be accomplished.
It's your choice, be a wuss and live with the consequences or stand for your beliefs and live with the consequences. Only one of those choices will change the future.
I'd suggest "Logical Reasoning". ad hominem is to attack the man not the argument. Genus is to discard the argument based on the source. Subtle differences.
I'm actually almost finished the design stage of such a system, and will start programming it as soon as i sell my place and find myself a nice tropical paradise to code in.
Basically it'll be a system that should be accessible and extensible for all the different users, casual users, arties/skinners, and programmers (high level and to the metal).
Design is extremely important since i would like it to be self-reflective all the way from the cpu to network communications.
um ok. Car crashes are easy to film, they happen around cars. Most of the time though we just film the aftermath, most of the filmed car crashes you've seen have either been in movies or cop car chases. Lightning comes in bunches if you didn't know, very easy to film, come on, you can actually smell a lightning storm coming. Meteors are visible for a lot longer than a few or fractions of a second. Nothing you mentionned comes even close to the parameters of catching ball lightning on film.
At least come up with comparable examples. What are those things called, red herrings? Strawmen? or just plain absence of logic?
Somehow, i don't trust the logic of a mind that is clumsy and prone to almost blowing itself up.
Of course, if you learn control over your dreams, you can do all those things while you dream. Even more than you can do while awake. Ever play an FPS in your dreams? Feeling like some web slinging?
Or maybe we'll just have two eggs that are in the same basket....still better than only one egg.
What we really need is to start putting eggs in other peoples baskets:)
Maybe it's a good thing to do this in the meantime.... while we learn how not to destroy every ecosystem on earth so that we don't take that destructiveness to virgin planetary ecosystems.
Probably what made it possible was the uncaring myopic do-first-think-never-profit-always attitude that while reducing the labour required in food production, turned the food industry into a poisoning machine that would eventually devestate the health of the country...and probably do something nasty to it's health care system....
Some of us just have photographic memories.
Unfortunately, the intelligent design requires an intelligent operator to work as designed.

Doesn't have to be made in Jalisco, just the blue agave is sourced from Jalisco. Use another type of agave in Jalisco and then it's Mezcal.
Of course, mexico is big on corruption.
Check out the book Siva! by Walt and Leigh Richmond.

Ever tried meditation and breathing exercises? :)
The east has a whole body of knowledge dedicated to controlling mind states. Worked for me.

You mean fallacy of genus not ad hominem. Sometimes i like to play dumb to see how anal people are :) Forest for the trees and all that.

For what it's worth, your contributions are valued in this community. Take heart.

Have you not noticed that these 'heart attacks' only occur after your wifi router lights blink in a certain pattern?
by that i mean exactly that. Get out and see the world. You might be suprised to find out that it doesn't need what you think it needs.
sounds like you need to get out and travel and see the world. Your idea of what should be done might change after you do that.
