I could totally kick his ass. Man, that would be fun - just pushin' him down over and over again. And don't give me any of that Korean martial arts crap, I'd just spend all day pushin' him down. Maybe kicking him some, yeah kickin' sounds good too.
You're an idiot. Those tags cannot be removed before the sale by retailers because they contain information about what materials are in the mattress that consumers have a right to know about. Once you buy them you can do anything you want.
That is an example of a GOOD label.
Moron.
until a crowd goes nuts and in the process of communicating and controlling the crowd someone forgets to throw a switch and blows away their support staff a mile away.
Did anyone watch the robot assemble a panel? Jeeze I wanted to fly overthere, kick it out of the way and do it myself. Score +1 for insanely slow robots of the world.
We need more of these installers for OS X updated games. I want to jump back into Unreal Tournament, but without classic or 9 I can't install the game properly from the CD.
Produce more!
How many developing countries use computers? Sure a lot of embedded stuff didn't fail, but they weren't programmed to fail either, a microwave doesn't need to know the correct date. In more advanced countries, with vulnerable systems, we exported the patched code, to software we developed, that's why they didn't have to spend so much money on it.
Yeah, it was hyped. But a lot of the ensuing nothing was caused by corrections we made.
I think so. Getting to the moon isn't a real struggle, what like a four or five day trip once you leave earth orbit? Granted that will take a lot more engineering and resources.
But considering everything, we already have a great model for how to get there, we know a lot about the physics and math of it all, and we have computer systems far in advance of what NASA had in the 60's.
I think that soon many companies will have space stations, or at least automated stations they can send samples to. Zero G is a great place to get research done, and if you're working with nano or micrograms the cost of sending samples to a research station would be little more than the (now high) cost of a ticket up there.
I toyed with the idea of driving down there late last week. I'd get fired for missing work, but it'd be the chance to see something amazing.
As it turns out I'm reading slashdot, not that there's anything wrong with that, instead of sleeping in the back of a truck out in the desert.
A lot of the events are not done ahead of time. There are programming events, math events and biology events as well as some that require the constrction of contraptions (egg drop etc.) that are started and completed at the competition by the students. Parents and coaches can do as much as they can to prep the kids, but only the judges know the questions, problems, or what supplies are available ahead of time.
My college co-sponsors these events in Kansas City each year, and I can say they are a blast.
Last year I ran the bottle rocket program, which uses air pressure to shoot soda bottle rockets into the air. It was so cold that rockets were freezing to the launcher. We had to pry them off, blasting ourselves with water and making us that much colder.
Some rockets were very impressive, getting hangtimes of 15-17 seconds with only 60-70psi in them.
I'll push you down too. One push to a mod, one push to a korean. Laugh, laugh, laugh then repeat.

A year to release a new version and there's not even any new features? Yeah this whole "open source" thing is really gonna take off.

Clearly no one saw the 2003 at the bottom of the page.
Somebody mod this shit up. That's funny.
After 12 years at macs my iBook died and I built a PC. So long Mandrake Linux... Hello, again, OS X! Wooot!

Predicted it back in '71? That seems like something a smart person would do, shame the rest of us didn't follow up on it before 30 years later.

I'm already loading my Anti-Borg Assimilation Shotgun [TM].
